October 2006

Erika & Troy were married at the fabulous Mavris Cultural Center last Saturday. They are such a fun couple and they had a great wedding party that was up for anything. Erika was a stunning bride…Karen Hall & Co. did her hair & make-up for the event and A Bride’s Choice Florist did a fabulous job on her flowers. They were all in order and labeled before we even arrived – impressive! They had such a beautiful day for pictures and we LOVED the bright blue sky so we took advantage of the great day and did a majority of their pictures outside…on the back deck, in the courtyard, against the skyline and on the railroad tracks.

Her wedding coordinator was the most amazing coordinator I’ve ever worked with. Every bride needs someone like this on her wedding day!! Marie Frey and her staff were incredible. They had Wedding Day Survival bags for the wedding party…she stocked the restrooms with emergency supplies for their guests – like gum, mouthwash, aspirin, hairspray, tissues, etc. She had the bride’s dress steamed and hanging upon our arrival and kept everyone completely calm and relaxed the entire day. Marie & her staff even had these cute aprons on that were filled with the usual emergency supplies like scissors, tape, shout wipes, etc. She even had the groom’s favorite Gatorade in his survival bag and he was so impressed. I can’t wait to work with her again, she was fabulous!!

Erika & Troy – Have fun in Maui this week and I’m sure your furbabies will be excited to see you when you get home! 🙂

Megan & Luke are such a sweet couple…they were married last Saturday at the Carmel Gazebo and their reception was at the beautiful Marriott North Hotel. The flowers & decor were amazing. Kathy’s Kloset did a great job as always, as well as Jerry Cooper from Sound Spectrum Entertainment. He kept the party going long into the night! Megan & Luke were referred to us by her cousin, Brad and his wife Allie, whose wedding we photographed earlier this year. It was great to see more familiar faces last weekend! 🙂
