February 2007

I thought I’d post a few favorite shots from some recent weddings…
I love Adrianne’s smile on this one, it’s contagious! 🙂

Ring bearer having fun with bubbles…

Another contagious smile from another one of our brides…

Fun cross-processed look after photoshopping…
Wedding party pic at the monument…yeah, I added the blue sky. 🙂
Playing “paparazzi” behind the trees with one of my favorite couples! You will see them featured on the blog again next week too, they are getting a brand new puppy so we’re doing another photo shoot for them this weekend with their new family addition.

This weekend we photographed an awesome corporate party at the IMA with event coordinator, Terry Rake. They had a “casino night” themed event and one of our favorite bands, the Fabulous Imports were there performing for the event too. We loved these cool light up cups with candy that she used as favors!!

My clients are the best…a few days ago, we received a cute thank you note from Melissa & Caleb for all of the work we’ve put into their wedding. Yesterday, Liz & Peter surprised us with a sweet thank you card and gift card to Texas Roadhouse for helping them with a photo project for one of her friends for V-Day and today we were surprised with a box of goodies from the Popcorn Factory from Tammi & Ryan! You guys all made my day this week. 😀 It’s nice to see how many people appreciate all of the hard work and extra hours we put in every week to create awesome images and albums for our clients and their families. 🙂

Last Sunday we photographed Stacey & Don’s wedding & reception at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. They were such a fun couple and Stacey had us laughing all day!! The coordinator at the Ritz was great to work with, Chuck from Allisonville Nursery did a beautiful job with her flowers and Jerry from Sound Spectrum had the dance floor packed all the way until the end. 🙂 With the wedding starting 11:30 a.m, we were able to enjoy an awesome brunch reception and some of Stacey’s family members even made a dessert bar to go along with the cake that afternoon! It was great to see so many unique touches that made for great photographs all day.

Valentine’s Day is probably my favorite “Hallmark holiday” – probably because I’m one of those true romantic, pink-loving, girley girls at heart. 🙂 John & I are terrible at keeping surprises from one another and he was so worried that I wouldn’t make it into the office today with all of this snow (3 ft drifts in our neighborhood!) so on Monday night, we both found out that we both ordered flowers from the same florist to be delivered to one another today. LOL How cute is that?! I’m sure Chuck just laughed at us when he noticed what we both did. John knows that pink roses are my all time favorite flowers.

I had red roses delivered to his office today and he already knows the other surprise I bought him. He’s a big Colts fan (even before they went to the superbowl) and he likes Peyton Manning so last Saturday, when he saw the jersey that Peyton was wearing at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, he kept saying, “that’s so cool, I want one just like that!” John is one of those guys that never really says he wants anything very often so for him to say that, I knew he really loved it. So I think I’m winning “wife of the year” award since I went to nflshop.com and bought him the jersey and it’s supposed to be delivered today. 😀 Of course, he already found out that I bought it since he does my accounting…LOL…I went back to the NFL’s website and can’t find it on there anymore, maybe they’re all sold out now?! Glad I bought it when I did!
