June 2008

We celebrated Father’s Day with dad on 6/15! We met up at church that morning and then headed to his house for cards and gifts that afternoon. I took this adorable shot of my hot hubby (below) that afternoon…our kitties wished him a Happy Father’s Day too that day! XOXO

Dad got a bunch of awesome stuff including a new polo shirt, a calendar, some gift cards and this cool Notre Dame framed art! (More ND-related pics coming soon!!) 😉

Mickey even slobbered dad with kisses that day! 🙂

And we had a variety of sweet treats on hand, including this cookie cake and some "Joe #5" Holy Cow Cupcakes – more on that story in the next few posts. 🙂

Happy Father’s Day dad!! Hope it was an awesome day for you! You’re the greatest! XOXO

On 6/14, we photographed Rachel & Nathan’s wedding & reception at Oak Hill Mansion! Everything was gorgeous!!! I probably went a little overboard with detail shots but oh well, they had AMAZING details that just begged to be photographed! 🙂 When we arrived, Rachel was wearing this button – LOL!

Rachel’s dad gave Nathan a gift….

The flowers and dresses were gorgeous!! Pink + Green = I’m in heaven!!!

Karen Henderson, one of the bridesmaid’s moms, did their flowers – WOW!

I’m lovin’ the sunglasses….:)

I photographed the cake right after it was delivered since it was a hot day outside! Classic Cakes did an awesome job as usual!

Ryan Shui , Rachel’s coordinator, did an awesome job with the set-up and details!!

Bubbles galore!

Aren’t they ADORABLE together?! They were so much fun to work with and so easy to photograph!

GORGEOUS!

Ryan made this "finish line" for them to cross since they’re both runners, I loved it!! LOL Some of you probably remember their engagement pics that we took out at Holcomb Gardens last Fall…we used their running shoes for a shot with their rings to go along with their love of running.

Yum!

LOL!

They had a sand ceremony instead of a unity candle since it was an outdoor wedding…so Diana and I used the sand as a "prop" for another ring shot!

That evening, the sun was setting during their first dance and we were loving it!!! Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen such perfect, beautiful light come across a couple during a first dance like it did for Rachel and Nathan – WOW. I’m sure it looked funny to the guests when all of us were huddled in one corner shooting the sunset light! LOL

Here’s a great shot that Diana got – loved it!!

He just adores her….:)

Hope you guys had a blast on your honeymoon!! More pics coming soon!
