Last weekend, we photographed Karen’s b-day & her welcome home party for her husband Jim at Hoosier Park in Anderson. Jim just came back from overseas for a quick trip home so it was good to see him and all of their friends and family that night. Aren’t they cute together?! 🙂 Here’s Garrett and Grant, can’t you tell they’re brothers?! 🙂

Lots of toasting and drinking going on that night! LOL

LOL!! Two sets of brothers…HA! Grant’s face is priceless!

Happy Birthday Karen, hope it was a great b-day for you!! 🙂 And Jim, let’s do this again when you come home for good in the Spring, ok? Take care of yourself!!! {Hugs!!}

As you know, we photographed the grand opening of the new Holy Cow, Cupcakes shop in Carmel this week! 🙂 Her shop is so cute and her cupcakes are AMAZING!!! They’re SO moist and she uses no preservatives so they’re super fresh! They offer cupcakes for weddings so if you’re thinking of doing something a little different, check it out!

I was the first to sign her wall!! It’s like FaceBook, but in real life! 🙂

Karen, Sean & Amanda on opening day!

And a promo pic for the Indy Star…

While I was there, I pulled out my little purse camera that has a video recording feature on it…just to forewarn you, I’m NOT a videographer! LOL At least you can get an idea of all of the yummy treats they offer though! 😉

Congrats you guys!! 🙂 We’re sooooo happy for you!!!

I LOVE MY JOB!! Yes, this morning I had the honor of photographing the grand opening of Holy Cow Cupcakes!! Karen’s store is so adorably cute and her cupcakes are SO yummy!!! The vanilla with vanilla frosting is a new fave (pictured above)…I’ve already eaten 2 today! YUM!! Anyway, I don’t have time for a full blog post right now (I’ll post more pics later!) but go check it out, she’s at 545 South Rangeline Rd in Carmel. CLICK HERE for her website!

This is going to be quite the miscellaneous post, so just consider yourself forewarned! LOL 🙂 First, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom!! 🙂 I will be out of the office today spending some quality time with her so if you email me today, just know that I’ll get back to you later this week ok? I still have some emails from this weekend to catch up on too…I’m not ignoring anyone, I just have an incredibly busy week planned and I’m trying to catch up as quickly as possible! 😉

John & I took this past weekend off for a mini vacation and it was awesome! We stayed at the new Renaissance Hotel in Carmel and I HIGHLY recommend it! The staff is friendly, the food was awesome, the decor was amazing and I even checked out the ballrooms since we haven’t had the chance to shoot there yet and I was totally impressed! If you’re looking for a great getaway spot, wedding/reception venue or honeymoon suite, BOOK IT!! 🙂

Also, last night was my sister’s violin performance and she did a FAB job!! Congrats Leah! It was fun hanging out with everyone at Starbucks afterwards too!

Tomorrow is the GRAND OPENING of Holy Cow Cupcakes and can I just say how EXCITED I am to see Karen opening up her new shop?! I can’t wait!! She’s such an amazing person and deserves every bit of success coming to her! So mark your calendars…11 a.m. tomorrow, 11/19 is the Grand Opening at 545 South Rangeline Road, her shop is connected to the Crystal Flash on the east side of Rangeline Road. Be there!! 🙂

Oh and a special note to all of my JLI girls – I’ll be bringing some of her famous cupcakes with me to the Holiday Mart wrap up party this week so you’ll all have the chance to try them out then! 😉

Whew…ok, sorry for the ramblings, had to get that all out. 🙂 And I know a post is boring without a photo so here you go!! I give you “The Erin” cupcake 🙂
