Last Sunday we held our annual Fall class photo shoot with the ever so fabulous Karen Hall & Company! 🙂 Lensi (above) looked amazing in her red dress! Isn’t she pretty?! 🙂 Karen & her students provided the hair & make-up on all of the models, they all looked gorgeous! Dee (below) needed some new head shots so she stopped in for a few quick photos during the shoot…she’s so pretty!

2

Then Lensi went for a 1940’s pin up look which I adored!! Doesn’t this look authentic? 🙂

3

4

Kendra started off with a trendy/casual look & was a lot of fun to shoot!

5

6

We found these old school desks in the office building and decided we’d definitely use them with Kendra’s look, doesn’t she look like a daydreaming school girl here? 🙂

7

Then she went GLAM!! Loved it!

8

Katie & Melissa worked together on this sexy goth look, pretty amazing, huh?!

These ladies were willing to fight for the bouquet! LOL

23

Not kidding… 😉 Look at the random piece of flower that is mid-air here on the left side of the shot!

On 9/6, we photographed Anne & Cory’s fun firefighter themed wedding in Carmel & their reception at Palomino. I totally adore pick up skirt dresses so when I saw her dress hanging up, I was in LOVE!! And she’s a girl who loves big, bold statement jewelry which is so fun for photos!

2

Dani putting the finishing touches on her hair…

3

Anne saw this shot on my blog and wanted to replicate it…we aim to please! 🙂

4

Can you believe she made those fab flowers herself?! Seriously!!

5

We woke up that morning and it was pouring outside…and they were planning an outdoor wedding at the Carmel gazebo so at first, we were like “oh no!” So with the help of several friends and family, they decided to move everything over to the fire station (where Cory works) and hold the ceremony there. They got everything moved over, we arrived for photos and sure enough, the sun came out! LOL Gotta love Indiana weather…of course, I was totally in love with the idea of shooting their wedding at the fire house because it’s representative of them and their life together so I think it all totally worked out the way it was supposed to. 🙂 We got amazing outdoor photos and an even more amazing venue for their ceremony that day! YAY!!

6

Anne is sooooo pretty! 🙂

7

Squeeze in tight!! 🙂

8

The flower girl was so adorable…

The sunset was gorgeous when we arrived at Palomino so we whisked them away for a few sunset pics…

19

Our friends and former clients, Karen & Sean are friends of Anne & Cory’s (thanks for referring them!) and Karen not only helped with the overall wedding coordination that day but as most of you know, she owns Holy Cow, Cupcakes in Carmel and she had her fabulous cuppies at the reception that night! YUM!

20

So adorably cute!!

As many of you know, my Grandma passed away last Saturday evening. She was an avid “blog stalker” of mine and enjoyed looking through all of the stories and photos so this blog post is in memory of her. She was an awesome grandma…always fun, sweet & full of life. I had a really great visit with her last Thursday evening in the hospital but I really didn’t think that would be the last time I’d ever see her. 🙁 This week has been really rough. Especially since my grandpa’s 80th birthday was Monday and my birthday was yesterday…our first birthdays without her. 🙁 Tomorrow we’ll celebrate her life at her funeral and we know she’ll always be with us. She was an amazing, beautiful lady who will always be missed. We love you grandma!!!! XOXOXO
