March 2013

We’ve been working with Kirles Jewelers for the past several months on a variety of photo projects! Their new billboard will be up on Keystone soon which features a photo that we took for them so we’re super excited about that. John is working with them on developing a new website for their company this year and we’ll be photographing a wedding in their family this year too, so needless to say, we’ve gotten to know them really well and they’ve been amazing to work with through all of these projects and photo shoots!!  My new ring “upgrade” for our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary came from Kirles and it’s STUNNING! They did an AMAZING job on it!! When John and I got married in 2003, unique ring shots weren’t as popular as they are today, so I’ve been excited to do a photo shoot of my new ring and of course we’ll be using some of these shots in other upcoming marketing & promo pieces for Kirles! Talk about a win/win! 🙂

A few weeks ago, we met up with the fun staff of Event One DJs, one of our favorite DJ companies in Indy, to shoot their updated staff photos for their website! These guys are SO amazing at what they do, they can really read the crowd, keep the party going and their ability to emcee events is out of this world! We were thrilled that they chose us for their photography needs, it always means a lot when other vendors and photographers choose us, you know? 🙂 If you are in the market for a great DJ, check them out by clicking HERE! 🙂 (A special thanks to D’Amore for letting us use your venue for their photos!!) 😉

On 3/2, we photographed Marni & Brian’s beautiful wedding in their brand new, gorgeous home! They have such a sweet and happy family filled with so much love, you can tell that they’re both really great parents to their kiddos! 🙂 Marni looked amazing, the dress fit her beautifully, her hair & make-up looked fab, and I was in love with her ring!! Her sister made her bouquet and it was AMAZING (again, I say she needs an Etsy store!!) 😉 They had guests sign in on rocks that they’ll display in their home and I thought that was a really neat idea. They had a really sweet, sentimental ceremony and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house by the end of it! Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 🙂

On 2/24, we met up with Libby & Alex at the Indiana State Museum for their engagement shoot on the canal! They are an ADORABLE couple together and they’re so funny, I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!! 🙂 They were amazing to work with too, it was SO COLD the day of their shoot…but you’d never know that they were freezing by the looks of these pics! LOL Thanks for being so amazing you guys!! More pics coming soon!

On 2/23, we photographed Karen & Brian’s fabulous black & white themed D’Amore wedding & reception!! We started off the day at the Hilton Garden Inn for some quick getting ready photos and their big reveal and then we headed over to the Columbia Club’s lobby and the monument for some group shots before heading over to D’Amore. I loved her dress, flowers, cake & decor, it was all gorgeous!! The sun was setting right before the ceremony started so we grabbed them for a few amazing sunset silhouettes which I loved. They had a really unique guest sign in idea, they had various bottles of wine, liquor, etc. that guests signed their names on and Karen & Brian plan to open a bottle on their 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th & 20th anniversaries! Pretty cool, huh? 🙂 The ring bearer walked down the aisle with a cute sign that read, “Uncle Brian, here comes your Bride!” which I thought was adorable and of course, everyone loved it. The guests were also raving about the popcorn bar that night and the late night Hot Box pizza snacks! It was definitely a really fun wedding and everyone had a great time that night! 🙂
