January 2014

Mainstreet contacted us because they were in need of some corporate head shots, office interiors and stock shots for their website. When we arrived, we found that their office was full of the nicest, happiest people that we’ve ever met in an office environment…you can tell that everyone really loves working there and that they enjoy their jobs! LOVE THAT! 🙂 Anyway, I wanted to blog some of their interiors and detail shots because we do offer those services too, even though we specialize in weddings! 😉 Thanks for a great time everyone, more pics coming soon!

We recently photographed Caleb’s 1st birthday pics for Stephanie & Colton, one of our past wedding clients! 🙂 These were some of my favorite 1 year pics, as Stephanie put a lot of thought into his outfits, props, etc. We photographed him with his balloons, toys, adorable outfits, chalk board & photo booth style props and of course, ended the session with a cake smash! I loved it!! 🙂 Thanks for a great time you guys, more pics coming soon!

Last month we photographed 8 back to back mini sessions at the Indianapolis Zoo for our Winter Mini Session day! We had a great group of clients & friends who joined us that day for a variety of portrait sessions…we photographed families, kids, couples, engagements & even a senior portrait session! 🙂 Thank you to all of you who participated, we had a fun time and hope to do it again in 2014! 🙂

I’ve been so excited to blog this wedding! On 11/9, we photographed Laura & Tyler’s fun wedding & reception at St. Susanna & the Indiana Historical Society! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED all of their details!! Laura had a fabulous dress, beautiful shoes with bling (my fave) & gorgeous flowers! They had such a fun wedding party & great families too, they were all awesome to work with. Laura’s mom even surprised her with these adorable “I Do” & “Me too” signs while we were out taking pics & Tyler’s nephew also had a surprise sign for him before Laura walked down the aisle, it was adorable. 🙂

After the ceremony, we went to monument circle for some fun photos where we discovered that all of the groomsmen had these awesome Tetris socks! Loved it! After that, we headed over to the IHS & canal area to take some more photos before the reception started. As we were on the bridge, we witnessed another couple getting engaged nearby, it was a very cool moment for all of us!

Their reception set up was so gorgeous, they had fabulous centerpieces, a lot of vintage pieces to go along with the historical society’s theme, a monogrammed logo on the dance floor, an old typewriter for guests to type their well wishes, custom favors & an adorable cupcake tower full of cupcakes from Sweet Mandy B’s in Chicago. Even after all of that awesomeness, they surprised their guests with huge foam glow sticks at the end of the night which were a huge hit!! 🙂 Thanks for a great time you guys!
