Wedding

Hello to all of our clients & friends! As most of you know, we’ve maintained the same portrait pricing for the past 10+ years (which is nearly unheard of in this industry!) and we’ve tried our best to keep costs down but starting 2/22/24, we’ll be increasing our rates to better reflect the time & effort that we put into each photography session and to keep up with the current market rates and cost of living. We hope that you all understand and will continue to support our small business now and in the future. 🙂

Our new rates are as follows:

15 min single mini session $199 (typically includes at least 50-100 photos, or more)

30 min double mini session $399 (typically includes at least 100-150 photos, or more)

45 min triple mini session $599 (typically includes at least 150-200 photos, or more)

1 hour photo session $799 (typically includes at least 200-250 photos, or more)

* Note: we will still be honoring our 2023 rates for clients who purchased gift cards in 2023 for use in 2024.

** Corporate events will be customized & quoted on a per-project basis.

Thank you all for your understanding, we appreciate your business and your referrals! 🙂

This week we photographed the Grand Opening for My Salon Suites in Carmel! It’s such a beautiful, luxurious space filled with an awesome community of creatives! If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you need to! They have 27 individual suites with professionals who provide an array of services such as: hair, make-up, nails, skincare, tattoos, hair removal, and more! 🙂 Joe & Greg were AMAZING to work with and we had so much fun with everyone at their party! Thanks for a great time, you guys!!

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding/vow renewal last week at White Willow Farms! Their original plans were derailed by Covid so they had a very small wedding on their original wedding date last year and then had their big vow renewal/party on 5/28 this year. They had SO many gorgeous details for us to photograph, several of them had a lot of sentimental value! The necklace that Nicole wore is actually the diamond from her grandma’s engagement ring and after she passed away in 1988 her aunt had it made into a necklace. Nicole’s sister, Allison, wore it at her wedding too as her “Something Borrowed”. The handkerchief wrapped around her bouquet was also her grandma’s, she carried it on her wedding day on November 16, 1946, then Nicole’s mom carried it on her wedding day on June 30, 1984, then Allison had it wrapped around her bouquet for her wedding May 19, 2018 and then Nicole had it at her wedding on August 29, 2020 & also at her vow renewal. So awesome!

Nicole’s dress was so beautiful, I was glad she got to wear it twice. Not many people can say that! Mother Nature was playing tricks on us last weekend, it was unseasonably cold for May with high wind gusts…we got some great veil flying shots though, and we all made the best of it. I was just thankful that we were able to get some awesome outdoor photos of the bride, groom, and wedding party before the rain came. Her fabulous wedding planner moved everything inside in a hurry and we just kept on going with family photos before the ceremony. Instead of flower girls, they had “flower dudes” and the guys were a hit! Everyone was cracking up as they theatrically threw rose petals before Nicole and her dad walked down the aisle.

Their reception decor was beautiful and so perfect for the venue, and the evening was FULL of surprises! They surprised their guests with a popcorn bar, a dessert bar, AND a donut wall! To top it off, they even had a dog treat bar for the guests’ 4 legged friends, which was awesome. Nicole surprised Jacob with a very sweet poem and toasted to all law enforcement who were in attendance that evening. The DJ played “Peaceful Easy Feeling” which was Nicole’s parent’s first dance song and they danced with both of their daughters and their spouses, it was so sweet. The bride’s mom surprised them with big head photo cutouts, which made for some funny candid dancing shots late into the night! The night was topped off with their last dance song, “Time of my Life” where the DJ did the infamous Dirty Dancing lift right next to me! LOL In 27 years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen! haha! It was such a fun and memorable night. Thank you to Nicole, Jacob & both of their families for being soooo awesome and so much fun to work with!!

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding last Sunday at the Biltwell Event Center and we had so much fun with them! 🙂 I was in LOVE with all of their gorgeous details that day…her dress was STUNNING and it made for the perfect backdrop for some ring photos. We incorporated her sister’s ring into some of their ring shots too, Amanda mentioned that her sister is deployed so this was a way that we could honor her sister who couldn’t be there in person. I also made a little extra time in our photo schedule so that she could facetime or call some of her family members that couldn’t be in attendance. Covid has definitely made wedding planning much more difficult for our couples last year and this year and I feel for them and their families.

Once we got to the venue, we did their first look and then started on bride & groom photos. They are SO HOT together!!! WHEW! #models 🙂 Amanda is a bartender so when we found this cute little bar upstairs, it was perfect for photos! Their venue had some fabulous spots for taking pictures, they even had an old bank vault and a cute freight elevator with a couch, perfect for some swanky model shots! Amanda’s two sons walked her down the aisle that day, it was so sweet!! After their ceremony, we finished some more photos with both of them while the catering staff flipped their room. Their reception decor was GORGEOUS! We loved their cake, groom’s cake, florals, cake topper, string lights, and uplights, it was awesome! Amanda bought some fake snow for some photos at the end of the night and they turned out awesome too!! (Plus, we had some REAL snow still leftover from last week’s snowstorm – perfect timing!) Thanks for a fun time you guys!!

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding last weekend at the Lincoln Park Gazebo in Zionsville! Their original wedding plans took a turn when COVID hit, but that didn’t stop them from having a gorgeous ceremony at the spot where Jacob proposed to her, so it all worked out perfectly! PLUS, we get to see them again next year for their vow renewal and huge party! 🙂 Yay! We actually photographed Nicole’s sister’s wedding 2 years ago and we love her whole family, I’m so glad that everything worked out and that they still got to have an amazing wedding on their original wedding date.

They also had SO many gorgeous details for us to photograph, several of them had a lot of sentimental value! The necklace that Nicole wore is actually the diamond from her grandma’s engagement ring and after she passed away in 1988 her aunt had it made it into a necklace. Nicole’s sister, Allison, wore it at her wedding too as her “Something Borrowed”. The handkerchief wrapped around her bouquet was also her grandma’s, she carried it on her wedding day on November 16, 1946, then Nicole’s mom carried it on her wedding day on June 30, 1984, then Allison had it wrapped around her bouquet for her wedding May 19, 2018 and then Nicole had it at her wedding August 29, 2020. How amazing is it that her hanky was used in FOUR weddings and that it’s about 74 years old?! They also did a champagne toast back at her parent’s house after the ceremony and Nicole and Jacob used the toasting glasses that her parents used at their wedding. Allison and Troy used those at their wedding as well! I knew they looked familiar! 🙂

Nicole’s dress was stunning (and she gets to wear it twice! #winning!!) and her shoes were fabulous too! Jacob surprised her with a beautiful diamond & sapphire bracelet and wrote her a sweet letter that she opened before getting dressed and she surprised him with a new watch. They are both so thoughtful! Her jewelry, flowers, hairpiece, and ceremony decor were just perfect! We shot their first look at the park and then some family photos, followed by the ceremony and their first dance inside the gazebo. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year! Enjoy your teasers!

In her words…

1. How did he propose? “He took me on a date night around downtown Zionsville which involved walking around the parks, going to the winery, and then ended at the Lincoln Park gazebo where he got down on one knee and said ‘babe this is not a joke’ lol! We then went to the Salty Cowboy with our family to celebrate!”

2. What was your favorite wedding moment? “My favorite wedding moment was the bride and groom first look because he did actually cry!”

3. What was his favorite wedding moment? “His favorite wedding moment was also the first look because ‘you were pretty’ (his words lol)”

4. What was the funniest wedding moment? “The funniest wedding moment was our unity candles refusing to light and stay lit, oh well!”

5. What was your first dance song? “Our first dance song was ‘From This Moment On’ by Shania Twain”

6. What advice would you give to future couples? “Remember to enjoy the day and savor every moment, it doesn’t matter if things don’t go exactly right or you are running behind because at the end of the day you are marrying your best friend and that is all that matters!”
