Last weekend, we photographed Ingrid & Chris's wedding & reception in Indy. Ingrid's dress was GORGEOUS!!
And check out their adorable flower girl…isn't she precious?!
Before Ingrid got dressed, she changed into the wedding suit that her grandmother wore on her wedding day. They had taken a photo of her grandmother's wedding album on their camera phone so we included that in a few of the shots…isn't it amazing how much technology has changed over the years?!
Ingrid reading her vows….
Chris surprised her with a scrapbook of their dating memories before the wedding…it was soooo sweet! He had saved every photo, ticket stub, etc. and put it all in her personalized album.
Dorey's flowers…pomander balls are so cute!!
GORGEOUS!!
Ingrid was such an elegant bride!
This little girl was flirting with the camera during the ceremony, it was hilarious! She played peek-a-boo with me, then went in the aisle to check out what was going on, then started playing with her dress. I think kids are so bored during ceremonies and it's so funny to watch what they do to keep themselves occupied! LOL
During the vows…I love Chris's look on this one. Ingrid's brother nearly passed out behind Chris (luckily he was ok!) but you could tell Chris was wondering what was going on behind him. It was pretty hot up there under the church lights and I'm sure the tuxes made it even hotter. (Some tips for our clients and their wedding parties on how to avoid that in the future: keep cold water handy, don't lock your knees when standing at the altar and eat something before the ceremony…many people forget to eat on the wedding day from all of the stress!)
Petal toss exit (love it!) and I LOVED Ingrid's bridal coat!
Here was John's perspective from behind them…nice shot honey!
Loved the details…
Chuck and his crew from The Florist at Allisonville Nursery did all of the flowers, they were gorgeous! Ingrid & Chris held their reception in the Fisher Ballroom at The Omni downtown, it was so beautiful!!
They had special lighting on the flowers at the head table, which made it even more dramatic…loved it!
Ingrid told me beforehand that she would have a surprise groom's cake set up for Chris since he loves ice hockey…
Classic Cakes provided their wedding cake…YUM!
Same shot utilizing some of the cool, blue uplighting they had at the reception…love it!!
They even had name cards for us…so sweet…our clients take such good care of us.
They told us at their engagement session a few months ago that they had been taking dance lessons so their first dance was choreographed, it was awesome…I can't wait to see their video too, John & Jennifer Moon of Northernlight Filmworks were AWESOME to work with and even went to film Chris & Ingrid's final dance lesson before their wedding!
Brian Whitis did a great job with the entertainment all night!
Aren't John & Jennifer so cute together? They make a great husband/wife video team!!
Many of you have probably seen them at our bridal shows over the last few years…they are so much fun!
Loved the candles and floating orchids…
Sorry to all of you who are on a diet…LOL…these photos will make you hungry!
Check out the AMAZING winter wonderland dessert bar they had set up!!
My favorite shot….anyone have a fork?
At the end of the night, we followed them into their honeymoon suite (by request)
as Chris carried her in….
Oh la la….
Jumping on the bed!
Congrats you guys, hope you had a blast in Hawaii this week!
