Canvas Prints & Ideas

Hello to all of our clients & friends! As most of you know, we’ve maintained the same portrait pricing for the past 10+ years (which is nearly unheard of in this industry!) and we’ve tried our best to keep costs down but starting 2/22/24, we’ll be increasing our rates to better reflect the time & effort that we put into each photography session and to keep up with the current market rates and cost of living. We hope that you all understand and will continue to support our small business now and in the future. 🙂

Our new rates are as follows:

15 min single mini session $199 (typically includes at least 50-100 photos, or more)

30 min double mini session $399 (typically includes at least 100-150 photos, or more)

45 min triple mini session $599 (typically includes at least 150-200 photos, or more)

1 hour photo session $799 (typically includes at least 200-250 photos, or more)

* Note: we will still be honoring our 2023 rates for clients who purchased gift cards in 2023 for use in 2024.

** Corporate events will be customized & quoted on a per-project basis.

Our friends at the Ritz Charles asked if we would like to set up a display table for their Bridal Experience Night on 5/9 and of course, we said, “yes!” 🙂 They do these showcase nights a few times a year for their booked brides where they showcase their venue & a few select, preferred vendors as well as various table set up display options and their cakes & catering. It’s a chance for brides to get new ideas, try their food & experience what the Ritz has to offer first hand. We set up several albums, canvases, an iPad display, magazine features and promotional materials and Wes from Event One DJs added uplighting to our display which really made it pop! (Thanks Wes!!) The Ritz staff created several beautiful table display ideas for their brides, the pink one was my fave, of course! 😉 Wes provided the entertainment, uplighting and photo booth that night, all of which were amazing. I LOVED all of the uplights around the room, I believe it truly makes a huge difference in your photos. (Brides, take note) 🙂 McNamara did a fantastic job on the flowers (thanks Alan for the pink arrangement, it still looks beautiful in our home!) and Oliver’s Twist set up a great display of their custom invitations and paper products that night. The plated dinners that the Ritz set aside for us to photograph looked SO yummy and you could tell that their couples really enjoyed the event. 🙂

This past week was a really fun week of changing up our office space a bit! If you come to visit us, you’ll now be greeted by this pink & green buffet of yummy goodies!! Since candy buffets are the fun and trendy thing to do at weddings now, I thought, why not put one in our office?! 🙂 I think they are so fun and whenever we have a wedding with a candy buffet, we end up using the candies in various ring shots! (Which make amazing canvases as you can see!) 😉

Jamee Bryant from Setting The Mood was the genius behind this entire display!!! She did the whole thing, she’s AMAZING!!! The color scheme, symmetry, various jar heights, linens, candies, decor, bags, etc. were all PERFECT!! I’m soooo excited to announce that our newly redesigned website is now LIVE!! John at InspireMedia did SUCH an amazing job on it, he’s awesome!! 🙂 It was such a huge project to take on, but it was so worth it…the new site features include: animated drop down navigation, flash based slideshows, page transition animation, full screen images and some of my favorite music set to the custom photo galleries. I think my two favorite galleries are “Bling” and “Pets” you’ve GOT to check them out!! 🙂 We hope you all enjoy the new website and find it easier to navigate and full of ideas! XOXO

On 6/28, we produced our 6th bridal show and had a great time as always!! Due to our ever growing RSVP list, we moved our show to The Mansion at Oak Hill and it worked out great!! Hundreds of brides came to the show and I actually had vendors asking to sign up for our holiday show before this one even ended, what an awesome testimonial! 🙂

Just before the doors opened, I took some quick photos of the booths and our set up…here are my parents working the registration table… (Thanks again for your help!! XOXO)

Here’s the spread of food in our vendor hospitality room…we like to feed our vendors well because it’s always a long day. (Yeah, we spoil them!! 😉 This was one of 4 tables of food and drinks available to them, just to give you an idea)

And last but not least, the brand new product we launched at the show!!! Many brides are familiar with the signature mat concept but we wanted to do something a little different and truly customized…so, we’re introducing our new 18×24 gallery wrapped signature canvas!! 🙂 You can customize the size of the inner photo, we can use an image from your engagement session that we took or someone else took (provided you have copyright release of course!) and the cool thing is that you can also customize the border color to match your wedding colors! The sample shown is in standard white but you can customize it to fit your theme. The best part is that it’s ready to hang as soon as you get home! The signature canvases will be $399 but we are offering $100 off as our bridal show special until August 4th – regardless if you made it to the show or not.
