This week, John & I went on a mini getaway for Valentine’s Day and stayed at the French Lick Resort! I wanted to post a few cool shots that we took while we were down there…

We also went to check out West Baden while we were in the area…

If anyone is thinking of having a wedding reception in French Lick, THIS SPOT would be AMAZING…just sayin!

John & I had a great time together, we exchanged some really awesome gifts, relaxed, went to a movie, ordered in room service and took photos around the grounds. It was the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway!

Last weekend, John & I went downtown to check out Super Bowl village and the monument, it was awesome!! I’m so proud of our city and everything that they’ve done to make the celebration over the top amazing! Of course, I loved it that the roman numerals turned PINK when I went to shoot them! It’s like they knew. HA!!

The Huddle had a neat Art Lounge inside along with tons of memorabilia, a chef’s station, newscasters & a big screen TV upstairs, it was really cool!

We loved the ice sculptures outside!

John even put an “I love you” message to me on the big JumboTron outside! He’s the best!!

We saw the zip line and astroturf field near the convention center…

I loved how they incorporated the Indy cars into the event!

We just happened to be standing at the perfect spot when a fireworks show began!

Love it!!

Congrats to the Super Bowl Committee for pulling off an AMAZING event & experience for all of us, you guys rock!

I feel like such a bad blogger, I’m about a holiday behind posting on here but I guess I’m slowly catching up! LOL I realized that I posted some of my favorite Christmas pics on facebook but forgot to give them some blog love too so here you go…a few of my favorites from this past holiday season!! Above, my dad & hubby among their favorite thing – Christmas lights! Here’s my mom’s dog, Mandy, completely worn out by all of the presents and festivities!

We wrapped our dog Buddy & mom’s dog Mandy in matching Burberry scarves! LOL Buddy just wanted the treat to follow, Mandy wanted a kiss!

Buddy LOVED his new toys, but especially the octopus toy that Aunt Mary got him!

On 9/25 we photographed the most beautiful baby shower EVER for our friends Deborah Bowman & Cassie Smith from A Touch of Elegance! Cassie held her shower at D’Amore, one of our favorite venues, and it looked STUNNING! They had blue uplighting with crystals hanging from the ceiling…

And an adorable diaper cake (that they made!) along with their adorable invitations…

Everything was so personalized, I loved it!

Jamee Bryant from Setting the Mood did an AMAZING job on the candy buffet! Everyone loved it!

The dining area looked gorgeous! Angie Kenley from Bokay did a fabulous job on the flowers!

Deborah rented these amazing chair sashes from Wildflower Linen, my all time favorite linen provider!!

Best baby shower EVER! Deborah & Cassie sure know how to throw a gorgeous, elegant party!

Paige from Sweet Seductions did a fabulous job on her cake!

John & I put together a DVD slideshow of photos set to music so that their guests could enjoy seeing some of their maternity photos before having lunch and opening gifts. It was a huge hit!

Love this one! John caught Dustin in the other room watching the slideshow too…

Guests were greeted with amazing appetizers like these kettle chips with white cheddar and an edible monogram!

They were also offered a blue sunken cotton candy signature drink! Super cool!

Lunch was equally amazing…they had different “craving stations” that featured all kinds of foods that Cassie has been craving throughout her pregnancy! They had a salsa bar/taco station, mini gourmet burgers, cheese fries with ranch dressing, buffalo chicken with macaroni & bleu cheese and a salad station! Lots of yummy options for their guests!

To top it off, they even had a dessert station featuring these adorable pie pops in several different flavors, blue cotton candy and the yummy cake from Sweet Seductions! Guests LOVED it!

Grayson received so many wonderful goodies that day!

Cassie opened gifts after lunch and one of our mutual clients (Cayla & her mom) came up with the idea to clothespin their gifts on a rope and place it in a basket. When she unfolded it all, it stretched across the room and featured so many adorable outfits and useful things for Cassie & Dustin! It was awesome!!

BFF photo!! (Deborah, Cassie & Karen together) We all had such a fun time that day! Cassie looked adorable in her custom dress from Dianne at A Fitting Creation. We also had the chance to work with videographers Jet & Dani Kaiser again, they are so sweet and laid back, they’re always a lot of fun to work with! It was like a big get together with a lot of vendor friends that day…so fun!

Thanks for allowing us to capture the most awesome baby shower ever!! Can’t wait to capture Grayson’s arrival this week too!! XOXO
