Brittany + Brad = Married!

On 4/21, we photographed Brittany & Brad’s over the top BEAUTIFUL wedding at St. Luke’s & reception at Woodstock Country Club! They were so adorable together and so much fun to photograph! Brad’s family owns a wholesale floral house in Texas so as you can imagine, their flowers were out of this world amazing! They flew in thousands of flowers for the event and had a local florist put them all together. They were fabulous! Gina Howald did a great job coordinating everything that day and it was fun to see Reverend Scanlan again, she officiated our wedding ceremony almost 9 years ago! Everyone had such a great time that night and Brittany & Brad surprised their guests with a firework show at the end of the night, it was definitely an evening to remember!

Dental Spa’s Photo Shoot!

On Monday, we photographed the staff of Dental Spa and their awesome office & decor for their upcoming new website!! We started going there last Fall when I had a dental emergency and Dr. Marckese is AWESOME! If she can handle me and my dental anxiety, she can handle anyone!! LOL! She’s so down to earth and funny, she always knows exactly when to make you laugh and I love that! We were super excited for this shoot, I knew we were going to have a great time with all of the girls that day. If you or anyone you know is looking for a new dentist, I HIGHLY recommend Dental Spa! Their amenities are fabulous too! They offer dental chairs equipped with back massagers, aromatherapy candles and lotions, massages, paraffin wax hand treatments, flat screen TVs, leg and neck pillows & a smoothie after treatments! John’s 15K & a fun night with friends!

Last Saturday, John & my Aunt Mary did the 15K walk/run for the 500 Festival Training series downtown & of course, I was there to capture the event! It was a beautiful morning for a walk, although it was a tad chilly to start. I surprised them by inviting the whole family to come down and watch them cross the finish line that morning, we had a great time! It was good to see our friend Terry Mautner from DJ’s Direct emceeing the event too! Later that evening, we went to Buca’s for dinner with our friends Melissa & Patrick. We always love hanging out with them, they are a lot of fun! All in all, it was a great day…next up for John is the Mini Marathon next month! Wish him luck!

Mill Top Bridal Show Open House!

On 4/6 we participated in Mill Top’s Bridal Show/Open House with some of our favorite vendors! It was a really great show and an opportunity for brides to come check out the new venue space in Noblesville. Wedding planners were asked to transform each room into an amazing set up for a wedding or reception, so brides could really get a feel for what could be done with the space. I have to say, our friends ROCKED IT OUT!! Deborah & Cassie outdid themselves, as usual, and Angie did an amazing job on the flowers & decor! Jamee Bryant did a fabulous job on the candy buffet, Kathy Hershberger provided beautiful music & Thomas Caterers did an amazing job on the food! Everyone was just in awe of the space!! Great job team!! Can’t wait to work with all of you again on more upcoming events this year!

Tyler’s Senior Photos!

On 4/5, we met up with Tyler & his family down at the Monument for some cool senior photos! We were so excited to see them again, we actually photographed his mom & step-dad’s wedding on 7/7/07!! It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 5 years already. We had a great time during their shoot that night, we photographed Tyler around the Monument, alleyways, Market Street and a nearby graffiti wall which turned out to be super cool! Thanks for a fun time you guys!

Rebecca + Nick = Engaged!

On 3/27, we photographed Rebecca & Nick’s fun engagement session downtown around the canal and Indiana State Museum! They were super cute together, Nick has this funny, dry sense of humor that I love and they have great taste in cars…they’re both huge fans of Mustangs so one of my friends brought one to their photo shoot to use as a cool prop! Gotta love Hoosier Hospitality! Can’t wait for their wedding this August!!

Jamie + Matt = Married!

On 3/24 we photographed Jamie & Matt’s gorgeous wedding & reception at St. Christopher’s and The Conrad! They are such a fun couple together, they’re both very laid back and they had a great team of vendors that day so they were really able to enjoy their wedding day and I think it showed in their photos. They actually live in Chicago so the first time we met them was on their wedding day & we all hit it off perfectly! The details were impeccable, their flowers were stunning, their wedding party was up for anything and everything went off without a hitch thanks to their amazing wedding planners, Deborah & Cassie from A Touch of Elegance. (LOVE them!) Oh and did I mention Jamie’s RING was AMAZING?! We all had ring envy that night! LOL

Behind the scenes at the Indy Zoo!

Last weekend we had an awesome family outing at the Indy Zoo! Our friends at the zoo invited us out for a special behind the scenes look at their adorable walrus, Aurora! She was amazing!! She knows about 100 different tricks and she certainly put on a great show for us that day. Afterwards we stuck around and took some fun pics around the grounds…

Since wedding season is coming up soon, I’ve been perusing through our 2012 wedding files and I seriously can not wait to get this season started!! We’re shooting at so many fabulous locations with a lot of really great couples, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this year! As I was going through our wedding files, there was a very consistent theme about almost every one of them…4 out of every 5 booked weddings came by way of referral from either a past client or another wedding professional! I was so humbled by that and I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support!!

Some of you may or may not be aware of the ongoing referral program that we’ve had in place for years so I thought I’d devote a blog post to this topic. For every new wedding booking resulting directly from your referral, we will give you a $50 gift card that can be used toward any of our products and/or services!
