December 2010

On 12/11, we photographed Megan & Cam’s private ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion and their fabulous reception at D’Amore! Megan’s details were impeccable! 🙂

Loved the bridesmaids dresses…

Posh Petals did a great job on her flowers!

Private moment in the Governor’s Office 🙂

They had a very small, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family surrounding them, it was really sweet!

After leaving the mansion, we stopped by the State House for a few photos…

Then headed off to D’Amore! 🙂 We were soooo excited to shoot at D’Amore!! If you haven’t been there yet, you MUST go check it out. It’s a brand new event space that opened this Fall and it’s got an AMAZING view with an AMAZING staff and AMAZING food – seriously! Thomas Caterers of Distinction owns the facility and caters all of the events, they are such a talented group of people and really thought of everything when planning out the space!

Love this space!! Scott Evans did a fabulous job with all of the uplighting!!

Anne-Marie Smith Dezelan of Annie O’s Events did a fabulous job coordinating the look of their event!!

Jamee Bryant from Setting The Mood created these fun lamp shade centerpieces!

LOVE THIS!!

The centerpieces lit up too…very cool 🙂

Melissa’s husband, Patrick, helped us out that day…since they had a small ceremony and a large reception, they wanted all of their guests to be able to see a few photos from the ceremony earlier that day. Patrick did a great job coordinating the slideshow set up and the guests LOVED seeing ceremony photos at the reception! 🙂

I told  you the food was amazing!! 🙂

Yum!

Isn’t this super creative?! I love their food displays at D’Amore….

Chocolate covered cheesecake lollipops….to die for! Yes, I had to try one and yes, these had me craving cheesecake for a WEEK…they were that good. 🙂

RING SHOT! 🙂

A fun one…since the bride & groom are involved in politics… 😉

Thanks for a great time that day! More pics coming soon! 🙂

We recently did a magazine photo shoot for our wonderful friends at Holy Cow, Cupcakes!! NORTH magazine will be featuring one of these shots in their upcoming issue! 🙂

Soooo adorable, aren’t they?! 🙂

If you’ve never had a Holy Cow Cupcake yet, you are missing out!! Seriously, you must try their Oreo, orange, margarita and cookie dough cupcakes, those are my favorites…oh and of course you must try the “Erin” cupcake too! (Yep, they named one after me when they first opened their shop!) 🙂 The Erin consists of a chocolate cupcake with hot pink frosting and a little green shamrock on top, it’s so cute! 🙂

Love this shot, I hope they use this one in the magazine! 🙂 By the way, Holy Cow Cupcakes does a lot of weddings too so if you’ve thought about having a cupcake tower at your wedding, CLICK HERE and check them out! 🙂

On 11/27, we photographed Ellen & Matt’s STUNNING wedding & reception at St. John’s and Union Station! Ellen’s dress had over 16,000 crystals on it, it was truly stunning in every sense of the word! 🙂 Ellen & Matt are such a fun and outgoing couple too, which I love! Everything was perfect and the day ran so smoothly thanks to one of our favorite wedding planning teams, Deborah & Cassie of A Touch of Elegance! They ROCK!! 🙂

Ellen & her girls deemed this Sugarland “Stuck Like Glue” song as their wedding theme song and I must say, it was such a magical moment in that dressing room when they played that song! The girls started dancing together and laughing and it was so much fun! 🙂 I think I’ll forever remember this moment whenever I hear that song now… 🙂

Ellen’s bridesmaids had some major bling too! Loved it!

And check out our handsome groom, Matt! 🙂

Love this one in black & white…

Favorite! This one is definitely going on my website! 🙂

A little vintage-inspired editing on this one… 🙂

GORGEOUS!! I told her to give me sassy and this is what I got! Ellen, you are so fun & beautiful!! 🙂

Off to the church to get married!! We had the chance to shoot with Jet Kaiser Films that day, we LOVE working with Jet & Dani, they are such a cute couple and insanely talented!!!! I can’t wait to see Ellen & Matt’s video! If you are looking for a videographer for your wedding, check them out! 🙂

Proud daddy 🙂

Happy groom!

I love St. John’s, it’s so pretty and regal looking…

Afterwards, we took the wedding party to the monument area for some fun photos…but first, they had to update their profile photo and relationship status on facebook!! 🙂 Gotta make it “facebook official” you know? 😉

Ellen got matching Uggs for all of her bridesmaids…

Loved this one…very urban looking 🙂

That cathedral length veil was amazing!!!

I love how the monument was all decorated for Christmas! In fact, the Circle of Lights event was the night before their wedding so that was perfectly timed! 😉

Fun wedding party!

Another beautiful shot of Ellen…Karen Hall & Company did a great job on everyone’s hair & make-up that day! Karen is so awesome, she did my hair & make-up on my wedding day (almost 8 years ago!) and I’ve been recommending her ever since…love her! 🙂

Their cake was AMAZING! The detail work and bling were simply fabulous!!

And check out that topper, it was so perfect for that cake! Angie Kenley of Bokay Florist did a fabulous job on all of the florals and decor!

Paige Hayes from Sweet Seductions did an AWESOME job on their cake!!

Her dress had 45 bustles on it! (Yes, that’s forty five!) LOL! Karen came back for hair & make-up touch ups while 3 people bustled her dress, it was amazing…

Isn’t Crowne Plaza/Union Station STUNNING?!?! I feel like I use that word a lot…but it is stunning…and I’m so lucky to be able to photograph so many amazing events like this! Megan & Katie are great to work with at Union Station and the room always looks beautiful!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! A Classic provided all of their gorgeous rentals!

Even the place card table was stunning! 🙂

The favor boxes were branded with their wedding logo/sticker! Pretty awesome!

I LOVE twinkling candles!!

We thought their table numbers would make for an awesome wedding date ring shot! 🙂

Love this shot of them in their own moment 🙂

We took them outside for a few outdoor shots at night…

Then they surprised their guests with a taco bar towards the end of the night! I love it when our couples do fun things like that…

Giving Deborah & Cassie a quick hug good bye before their sparkler exit! These ladies are BFFs for life now! 🙂

This horse was cold and so ready to go, he was full of personality to say the least! 🙂

Yay!!!

My favorite moment of the night was right after they got in the carriage, when everyone was waving and yelling good bye, Ellen pointed to me and said that we were awesome to work with that day! LOL! 🙂 She’s so sweet, I just adore her!

Hope you guys had a fabulous time in St. Lucia!!! More pics coming soon!! 🙂

Last night we did a quick photo shoot for Cindy Schum, owner of Cindylu Designs! Her custom jewelry is so beautiful!! She needed good close up shots of her products for her website since she sells a lot of her pieces online. Check out both of her etsy sites by clicking HERE and HERE! 🙂 Eventually some of these photos will be on both of those sites!

So cute!!

One of my favorite bracelets…

Wine charms! What a great Christmas gift idea! 🙂

Thanks for a fun time last night! 🙂

We recently photographed one of my best friends parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lynch, for a “just because” shoot. Rachel wanted some fun, artsy, non-traditional pictures of her parents together, I love that! We originally scheduled this shoot for Fall but it rained on the day of their shoot so we came up with an even better plan B – a Winter shoot inside the conservatory at White River Gardens next to the Indy Zoo! 🙂 (A special shout out goes to Jackie Sabrosky!! Thanks for helping us get this shoot coordinated, you rock!)

Since it snowed the morning of their shoot, I thought this was appropriate… 😉

I LOVED the entryway at White River Gardens!!!

The conservatory is all decorated for the holidays…so fun!

Where else can you see a palm tree and a Christmas tree in the same photo in Indiana?! 🙂

I love Mrs. Lynch’s laugh… 😀

They even braved the elements for some outdoor photos in the snow!! YAY! Catching snowflakes with their tongues…

Kissing in the winter wonderland! 🙂

Thanks for a great time! It was fun to catch up and see both of you again! 🙂 More pics coming soon!
