May 2011

As many of you know, my husband not only helps shoot and assist with our photo shoots but he also owns a web development firm called InspireMedia. He’s doing incredible things for his clients and it’s fun to see him get excited about all of his ongoing projects! He just updated his own website and launched it this week, click HERE to check it out! If you are in need of a website, blog, online marketing assistance, search engine optimization or any other web-related service, you MUST check him out!! He did an incredible job on our website and blog and he has an extensive client list, including: FC Tucker, Employment Source, Tyler Mason Salon & Spa, Beach Bum Vacation, Classic Cakes, Meridian Floral Design, A Touch of Elegance, and many, many more! 🙂

This past week was a really fun week of changing up our office space a bit! If you come to visit us, you’ll now be greeted by this pink & green buffet of yummy goodies!! Since candy buffets are the fun and trendy thing to do at weddings now, I thought, why not put one in our office?! 🙂 I think they are so fun and whenever we have a wedding with a candy buffet, we end up using the candies in various ring shots! (Which make amazing canvases as you can see!) 😉

Jamee Bryant from Setting The Mood was the genius behind this entire display!!! She did the whole thing, she’s AMAZING!!! The color scheme, symmetry, various jar heights, linens, candies, decor, bags, etc. were all PERFECT!! If you’re thinking of having a candy buffet at your wedding or next event, you MUST talk to Jamee, she is the BEST!  Click HERE to visit her website!!

Jamee found these cute cookies that matched the buffet!

The buffet includes lollipops, taffy, gumballs, malt balls, rock candy, cookies, mints & custom fortune cookies!

Lollipops!

Gumballs!

Chocolate covered malt balls…AMAZING!

We love working with Jamee, her designs and event decor is always over the top AMAZING! 🙂

Thought I’d do a shot of my engagement & wedding ring in the rock candy while I was at it! 🙂 It’s hard to believe that John & I will be married 8 years on 5/17 this week!!! 🙂

Jamee, thank you so much for your help with this project! You are FABULOUS!! 🙂

Last weekend we photographed the Mini Marathon for my Aunt Mary, Cousin Jessica and her mom Debbie! Many of you know “Aunt Mary” from her business, Canine Retreat, (Buddy’s favorite hang out!) so I thought it would be fun to post some of her photos from this awesome “bucket list” accomplishment! 🙂 Here they are crossing the finish line!!

Hugging dad…. 🙂

We recently photographed Olivia’s newborn photos for one of our past wedding couples, Lydia & Dave!! They are such great parents to Olivia, she is one lucky little girl!! 🙂

Isn’t she adorable?! 🙂

Her wardrobe is stocked! 🙂

PRECIOUS!!!!!!! I think this one is a contender for a canvas print! 🙂

Dave plays the drums so this was a must have shot! 🙂

I think she’s dreaming here 🙂 She’s such a happy baby!

She has the cutest little feet!

Mommy & daughter…so sweet together!

LOL I think this one is one of my faves…their cat Sammy was SO sweet and followed us around during the whole photo shoot. I think he’s pretty protective of Olivia, it was so cute to watch! 🙂

Congrats Lydia & Dave on your new addition, she’s beautiful!! 🙂 More pics coming soon! 🙂

On 4/27 we had the honor of being the official photographers for Thomas Caterer’s Menu Tasting event at D’Amore! We LOVE working with Thomas and the D’Amore staff, they are all wonderful people and they are unbelievably talented!! If your mouth isn’t watering now, it will be by the time you finish reading this blog post! 😉

The view and decor was amazing as always…Detail & Design helped with the decor that evening and Scott Evans from Evans Audio Visual did a fantastic job with the lighting!! 🙂

We photographed each dish before it was presented to the guests that night, doesn’t this look yummy? It’s their new Tomato Spaghetti Caprese Salad!

If you’ve never been to D’Amore or had the pleasure of trying food by Thomas Caterers, you are missing out!!
