July 2018

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding last month and we had so much fun with them! They’re such a cute couple together and you may recognize them from their baseball themed engagement session at Victory Field that we did last Fall! They had some subtle baseball touches that were included on the wedding day too…like Ryan’s baseball cuff links, the decorated ring bearer “pillow” which was actually Ryan’s first baseball mitt, his Los Angeles Angels socks as well as his baseball themed groom’s cake, it was awesome!! Of course, Maggie’s details were fantastic too! Her dress and jewelry were stunning, they were perfect for her. Her mom saved her baby shoes and had the idea of putting her baby shoes next to her wedding shoes and I LOVED it! They also had a mimosa bar, gorgeous flowers and a sweet moment before the ceremony where they read each other’s love notes in between the doorway. I think everyone in the room was crying, it was sooooo sweet. Her dad also performed with his band before the ceremony and during the reception, they had a Bottoms Up beer cart with their custom monogram on the bottoms of the cups and we topped off the night with a gorgeous sunset. It was awesome!! Thanks for a fun time you guys!

We recently met up with our long time friends/clients, Dominique & Jeremiah and her family for a photo shoot at The Village of West Clay! It was so good to see them again and to meet her whole family, they were so much fun to work with and I’m looking forward to doing another shoot for them later this year! 🙂

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding in May and we had so much fun working with them!! They are so cute together & so down to earth, I just adore them! I was obsessed with their wedding details too…I loved their flowers, her dress, the beautiful harp music, their cake…everything was awesome! We even managed to take them outside around the venue for more photos at the end of the party and got some great shots around Coxhall. It’s such a cool venue. Thanks for a fun time you guys!!

In Cortney’s words…

1.      How did he propose? “He proposed in Walt Disney World while on vacation with my family. It was in Epcot in the Paris area of Around the World because he knows how much I love Paris and want to go there one day! He proposed in front of the Eiffel Tower.”
2.      What was your favorite wedding moment? “Groom’s favorite: The first look. Bride’s Favorite: Same – but some unique moments like when the dolphin was following us around the dome and having fun with us! Also, Rudy the parrot!”
3.      What was the funniest wedding moment? “The Groomsmen entrances acting as different animals!”
4.      What was your first dance song? “Whatever it is- Zac Brown Band”
5.      What advice would you give to future brides? “Don’t sweat the small stuff. Take in as much as you can. Yes, things will not go exactly how you planned them. Emotions are high that day. Remember what the day is about. Everyone says how fast the day goes, it’s true! Take moments to enjoy everything!!”
