Kaitlyn + Ryne = Married!

We photographed this sweet couple and their adorable furbaby, Wrigley, last month and we had so much fun with them that day! 🙂 You could tell that they really put a lot of thought and effort into every aspect of their planning because their details were INCREDIBLE! They had personalized wedding party gifts (even the gift bags were personalized!), they also had personalized hangers, matching robes, gorgeous jewelry & dresses, engraved cuff links, an adorable bandanna for Wrigley, a custom guest book, beautiful flowers, a stunning cake and a dessert buffet that everyone loved! No detail went unnoticed! 🙂

Everyone got ready at the Marriott and then we headed over to Holliday Park for their first look and photos at the ruins. It’s such a cool location for photos and it made for a unique backdrop that was also a nod to her Greek heritage too, which was awesome. After that we headed to the church for their family photos, ceremony & bubble exit. As a lot of you know, I LOVE Greek weddings!! I love all of the gorgeous details, the traditions, the iconography, the fun people, and the Greek dancing…they’re always a blast! Their reception at The Willows was fantastic! Guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the back patio overlooking the water, the room was set up beautifully, the food was delicious, the toasts were heartfelt & their choreographed first dance was perfect! The Greek dancing was so much fun to photograph and they ended their evening with a sparkler send off. It was a great day! Thanks for a fun time you guys!!

In her words….

How did he propose? “Ryne proposed on a lovely spring day at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (Newfields) wildflower garden exhibit. It was a beautiful moment for both of us.”

What was your favorite wedding moment? “My favorite moment from our wedding was being united as one with Ryne at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral; the church I grew up in. I was the third generation in my family to marry there!”

What was his favorite wedding moment? “Ryne’s favorite moment was performing a Rumba for our first dance! We have always wanted to learn to ballroom dance together, learning during our engagement period seemed the ideal time. We had a blast learning at Five Star Dance in Carmel.”

What was the funniest wedding moment? “The groomsmen thought it was hilariously awesome how every single thing they wished they had, John Wooton, was able to provide it for them! Before they even had a chance to verbalize their need, John was whipping it out of his bag for them! They started comparing him to Mary Poppins taking things out of the magic bag! They loved it, and are still joking around about it to this day! Thanks EHP team!” (Haha!! I LOVE it!!) 🙂

What advice would you give to future couples? “Our best advice to couples is to hire a month of wedding coordinator! It was the best money we spent for the wedding. They make sure the plans you made for the wedding are executed flawlessly to your vision. They take over all the work starting one month before the wedding and handle all coordination the day of! What a relief!”
