A thank you note from Cori & Lance…
I couldn't believe it, last night while I was downloading pics from this weekend's photo shoots, I received an e-mail from Cori! (Before I had even posted her preview pics on here) Check this out!!
"Hi guys, Lance and I are packing for the Honeymoon (which is a "go" – yay!) and we wanted you to know how much we appreciate all that you did for us on Saturday. First of all, thank you, again, for being the best Photography Dream Team on the Planet!! Today, we spent most of the day talking about highlights from our wedding last night… the carriage ride, Tim singing, our first dance and how good the pictures were, you had MANY compliments. Then, we went over all the things that went 'wrong'. I told Lance that I think you guys were really the ones who were keeping our wedding together when the wedding "coordinators" seemed to not know what was going on. Lance replied 'That's why we chose Erin', we smiled and gave each other a high five. 🙂 It was then that I realized that when we get our photos back, we will have a keepsake of all the good things that happened that day, the things we didn't see because we were so busy or were stressing out. Thank you for making our special day even better. We couldn't have done it without you. Love, Cori and Lance"
You guys are the best and we were glad to help you with everything to make your wedding day as perfect as it could possibly be. 🙂 Now go have fun in St. Lucia and avoid the hurricanes! 😉
Thanks April & Neil!!!
April & Neil got back from their honeymoon last week and visited our booth at Sunday's bridal show to see some of our new samples we created from their trash the dress session, how cool is that?! Not many couples can say the first time they saw their wedding pics was at a bridal show! LOL We received the sweetest gift and thank you card from them at the show too. Their story about their photographer search was just amazing and I had no idea what they had been through before they walked in my door. April was ok with me posting her comments here:
"Erin – You are amazing. As you know, we had a photographer prior to you who we were just not satisfied with. For me, the photographer was the most important element of the wedding. We chose our 1st photographer even before I had picked out my dress! So, you can understand the panic I was in when we decided we needed a new photographer. We searched everywhere for "the one" and I do mean everywhere…we drove all over the state of Indiana and even went to Ohio and Kentucky. We must have talked to at least 20 people. Finally I found you. I don't remember how I found you, but as soon as I met you I knew. You were so incredibly nice, understanding and talented. You listened to what I wanted and helped make me excited about our wedding again. Things only got better after our first meeting. You were quick to reply to all of my e-mails and suggested great vendors, two of which I ended up using. When we got our pictures back from the engagement session we were so impressed. They were gorgeous! The best part about it was that they looked like us. We weren't sitting stiffly posed or making fake smiles. You captured the real us. Even though we haven't seen our wedding photos yet, we know they will be amazing. Thank you!"
She goes on to thank each member of my staff similarly…and her card nearly made me cry!! 😀 I have the best job in the whole world and the best clients…I'm so thankful for that! April, I hope you enjoy your online collage and some fun previews I posted below…hundreds more to come soon! 😀
Funny testimonial from past bride, future trash-the-dresser…
I received this e-mail from Jess tonight, we shot her wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, made her honeymoon album, shot her Valentine's Day boudoir pics, her friend's wedding, another friend's surprise bridal shower and we'll be shooting her sister's maternity pics in a few weeks. She saw the new blog and my trash the dress pics from last weekend and she's booking her shoot for Aug or Sept this year, even though she's been married for over a year now….ladies, even if we didn't shoot your wedding or your wedding was 20 years ago, get the dress out for a photo shoot, it's SO much fun and there's so many awesome pics that come out of these shoots. Jess sent me this e-mail tonight, "You are like a really cool restaurant, I have to keep coming back until I have tried everything on the menu!" LOL That was awesome and made me laugh!! Then in a later e-mail she said, "I just got my dress out…it's so pretty! It deserves more pictures!! It's so cool that you get to wear it again!" 😀 Jess, I can't wait for your photo shoot!!!!
The best compliment ever….
I just had to share this because I thought it was so cool. I had a bride who came in a few weeks ago to review our albums and information…we were the first photographers she had looked into for her wedding and after her appointment, she told me that she already had some other appointments set up to meet with other photographers but that she would let us know if she wanted to reserve her date. Well, she came back in today to reserve her April '08 wedding with us and told me that she had talked to 15 (yes, FIFTEEN) other local photographers over the past few weeks and ended up coming back to us. How cool is that?! To have been chosen over 15 of my peers and colleagues was such an awesome compliment. 😀

"Erin, Erin, Erin… you have made my day! The picture collage is beautiful!! I can't stop emailing the link to people. All of the pictures are so awesome and they really capture the essence of that day for Nick and I. Thank you so much for everything! Your whole team was so helpful, friendly, and easy-going.
I told Nick before we even started planning this wedding that pictures were of the utmost importance to me because they will capture all the memories and feelings of that day, forever! You certainly made that happen with these pictures & I haven't even seen a fraction of them! I'm sure the rest will be just as amazing… thank you again, so much!
