On 10/7 we headed down to the Indiana War Memorial to shoot some set-up shots for one of my event planner friends, Deborah Sheeran! She produces amazing events!! She always uses the best vendors, the best decor & linens, the best colors for the client’s theme and she’s so detail oriented…she even told me that she went as far as to find the perfect carmel apple truffle favors for their Fall themed event! 🙂

The centerpieces were gorgeous!

1

The Cocktail Sax Jazz Band performed for the guests that evening, they were fabulous as always!

On 10/3, we photographed Pamela & Hai’s FUN wedding & reception! 🙂 We actually photographed Pamela’s sister’s wedding last year so it was great to see so many familiar faces again! Their wedding party was so awesome…they were up for anything!

2

I love how Pam & Hai interact with one another for photos, they’re TOO cute!!

5

She’s so pretty, isn’t she? 🙂

4

GORGEOUS flowers!!!

1

The red, white & black colors were stunning against the greenery in the background, loved it!

8

So cute together, I’m thinking this would make an awesome album spread! Maybe with some photos overlapping on the left side of the page? …I’m always shooting with the album in mind, can you tell?! 🙂

9

LOVED this!

10

7

LOL This sign was the perfect prop for this shot…

11

12

Pamela had a beautiful veil!

13

More fabulous flowers!! By the way, I LOVE candles and lights in the background, they make for great shots like this!

14

17

Our friend Rev. Patrick Hanley officiated their ceremony! It was so awesome because his wife Melissa has been shooting with me for years and we’re all such great friends, we were all able to work together and have dinner together that night! 🙂

The new Mr. & Mrs!!

They had a horse drawn carriage for their entrance and exit and even Gypsy (the horse) had her “nails” done to match the event! 🙂

I couldn’t resist! 🙂

19

Heavenly Sweets did an AMAZING job on their cake!

22

23

Patrick & Hai having a good time on the dance floor! (Seriously, isn’t Patrick the coolest?! I mean, how many ministers become friends with their couples and party with them during the reception!? If you need an officiant, check out his website HERE and book him!!) 🙂

24

They had carmel apples for their Fall themed wedding favors! Of course, my first thought was “ring shot!” 🙂

Thanks for a fun time you guys, I hope you had a blast at Sandals Montego Bay last week!!!

Right after Jordan’s session, we found out that she and Tommy actually know each other and go to the same high school, isn’t that funny?! AND it was another reunion for us because we’ve know Tom’s mom for a LONG time as well!! The world gets smaller every day, you know? 🙂 Tommy was great to photograph! He’s musically inclined and has a thing for fun shoes and showing his school spirit so we wanted to capture that in his photos…loved his shoes… 🙂

1

Loved this head shot!

2

3

Tom, you’ll have to post the link in the comments section of where you found those fun shoes! I know you said you ordered them online…

4

Love it! 🙂

I’m a little behind on blogging this week so in an attempt to catch up, I’ll be posting multiple entries tonight! 🙂 On 9/27 we had a blast shooting Jordan’s senior pics! She’s a senior at Fishers High School and I’ve known her parents for a LONG time!! It was so awesome to hang out with them again! In fact, they used to own Dream Limousine here in Indy and her dad drove John & I around in their limo the night he proposed to me!! How cool is that?! 🙂 So yeah, they have a “thing” for fabulous cars…as you can see…. 😉

2

3

They brought both of their Mustangs for her senior shoot – isn’t that awesome?! 🙂

4

Loved this one…

5

And this one is my favorite!! It’s like “YAY! I’m a senior!!” 🙂

6

Jordan, you’re so pretty…. 🙂

7

She’s in color guard so we took some “prop shots” 🙂

8

And we caught a couple pics of her with her mom & dad at the end of her shoot…thanks for a fun time you guys!!

Last weekend we photographed Kim & Gary with their two boys Nolan & Mitchell around downtown Indy! Kim is actually a photographer too. A friend of hers won a gift card for our services at a charity event that we donated to, but then gave it to Kim so that she could finally be in front of the camera instead of behind it! Pretty cool huh? 🙂 She said she liked some downtown/urban/artsy shots so we found some cool alleys to shoot in…I added a cross processed action to this one…loved it!

3

Loved this one too…

Then we added the boys…this looks like a magazine ad or something! 🙂 Definitely my fave!
