On 10/9 we photographed an awesome 1940’s themed shoot for Karen Hall & Company!! Karen holds make-up artistry classes a few times a year and as part of the student’s training, they’re involved in a live photo shoot at the end of the class and that’s where we come in! Jessica Kersey did an AMAZING job style directing this shoot and ALL of Karen’s hair stylists, make-up artists, models and students totally knocked this out of the park! The props, outfits, looks, hair & make-up ALL looked SO authentic!! I LOVED IT! 🙂

I think my favorite part of this shoot is how real everything looked in person and through the camera. If you think back to old photographs that you’ve seen from the 40’s and 50’s, most of them are so faded and in need of restoration. I’ve always wondered what they would look like using today’s camera equipment, editing styles, etc. The result of this shoot is exactly what I think they would look like in today’s world! GORGEOUS!! 🙂

LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!! 🙂

Hot!!

Vintage suitcases were perfect for this scene!

It’s a 1950’s style slumber party!

This reminds me of Desperate Housewives! LOL

GREAT job ladies!!! You all rock!! 🙂

On 10/2, we met up with Heather & Jonathan at the canal downtown for their engagement session! They surprised us with a really neat save the date idea, check out this awesome Scrabble save the date!! LOVE IT!! 🙂

They are super cute together and a lot of fun!!

We headed over to the Government Center to get a couple of cool shots in front of the State House – love it! 🙂

The canal is such a pretty place for a photo shoot!

The ducks are SO tame!! LOL We brought along some crackers and I thought they would take them from their hands!

Snuggle!! 🙂

Favorite!!

Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 😉

On 10/1 we photographed Cortney & TJ’s beautiful wedding & reception at Lumiere du Corps! Cortney has the most gorgeous green eyes, she could definitely be a model! 🙂 She had a stunning Demetrios dress to top it off, she looked amazing!!

I foresee this on the cover a magazine, don’t you? 😉 WOW…

Cortney and all of her lovely ladies…

They had a harpist (one of my faves, Elizabeth Ahlgrim!) perform for their prelude & ceremony. I LOVE the sound of the harp, especially for an outdoor wedding, it sounds so angelic! 🙂

Proud daddy 🙂

TJ was happy to finally see his bride! 🙂

Exchanging vows 🙂

YAY!

I loved her flowers, each rose had some bling in it! Royal Creations did a great job on their flowers!

Cortney & TJ are so adorable together!!

Love this one too!

Spinning his bride!

I loved their centerpieces! Debra Pope of Jameson Creations did a great job with planning and executing Cortney’s vision for the ceremony & reception!

How cool is it that their monogram initials spell out “TLC”?! Love that! 🙂

So happy together!

A sweet mother/son moment 🙂

Loved their bling!! 🙂

They were pros at the heart sparkler shot! 🙂

Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 🙂

On 9/29, we photographed Jade & Ryan’s engagement session at Holcomb Gardens at the Butler campus. They are two of the sweetest people who are so totally in love with each other, you can really tell how much they adore one another and I love that! 🙂

A little mid-morning sun flare 🙂

They’re so cute together! I can’t wait for their wedding next year! 🙂

Love it!!

I LOVE their “snuggle” shots!! Favorite!

They both go to Purdue so they did a quick outfit change for a few Purdue-themed pics!
