February 2012

Last weekend, John & I went downtown to check out Super Bowl village and the monument, it was awesome!! I’m so proud of our city and everything that they’ve done to make the celebration over the top amazing! 🙂 Of course, I loved it that the roman numerals turned PINK when I went to shoot them! It’s like they knew. 😉 HA!!

Love this view!!

The Huddle had a neat Art Lounge inside along with tons of memorabilia, a chef’s station, newscasters & a big screen TV upstairs, it was really cool!

We loved the ice sculptures outside!

John even put an “I love you” message to me on the big JumboTron outside! 🙂 He’s the best!!

We saw the zip line and astroturf field near the convention center…

I loved how they incorporated the Indy cars into the event!

We just happened to be standing at the perfect spot when a fireworks show began!

Love it!!

Congrats to the Super Bowl Committee for pulling off an AMAZING event & experience for all of us, you guys rock! 🙂

On 1/15 we photographed several of our friend’s booths that were displayed at the Ritz Charles bridal show! Here are some of my favorite set ups! 🙂 This one is by the amazing Angie Kenley of Bokay and Deborah Bowman and Cassie Smith of A Touch of Elegance! GORGEOUS!!

They are SO creative!! That blinged out charger is really a mirror! Isn’t neat neat?!

Of course I’m a sucker for pink flowers!! 😉

Classic Cakes displayed some of their new designs for 2012…

So cute!!

Posh Petals had a pretty display at the Children’s Museum’s booth!

Jill Sowder from Westwood Paper debuted some new menu card designs…LOVED this one with the ribbon & bling! SO pretty!!

Bella’s Blooms debuted their new candy buffets! I loved the lollipop tree, it was adorable!

Chuck Eaglin from Bella’s Blooms did an amazing job on this bouquet!

Alan Thompson from McNamara did an awesome job on this centerpiece!

I feel like such a bad blogger, I’m about a holiday behind posting on here but I guess I’m slowly catching up! LOL I realized that I posted some of my favorite Christmas pics on facebook but forgot to give them some blog love too so here you go…a few of my favorites from this past holiday season!! 🙂 Above, my dad & hubby among their favorite thing – Christmas lights! 🙂 Here’s my mom’s dog, Mandy, completely worn out by all of the presents and festivities!

We wrapped our dog Buddy & mom’s dog Mandy in matching Burberry scarves! LOL Buddy just wanted the treat to follow, Mandy wanted a kiss! 🙂

Buddy LOVED his new toys, but especially the octopus toy that Aunt Mary got him! 🙂

On 12/17 we photographed Lindsay & Ken’s beautiful Christmas wedding at the Hilton in downtown Indy! Lindsay had so many great details! LOVED her blinged out heels! 😉

Figuring out the veil…

Lindsay was such a pretty bride!!

LOVE! Kiralee did a fabulous job on her make-up!

Plainfield Florist did a great job on her bouquet! 🙂

Group hug! 🙂

I loved all of the candlelight around the ceremony room!

Lindsay was SO excited, it was adorable! 🙂

YAY!!

Such a happy couple! 🙂

They’re so cute together!

They had an awesome sparkler exit that night!

Then they hopped in a carriage and we headed down to the monument for some more photos…

Favorite!!! Downtown Indy looks so magical when it’s all lit up at night!

Another favorite! 🙂

There was a lot of kissing going on that night, they even had mistletoe at the entrance to the reception and personalized chapstick for their favors! Such a cute idea!!

The reception site looked AMAZING!!! Jennifer Morin did an AMAZING job, as always!!

I loved their centerpieces too…

Classic Cakes did a fabulous job on their cake too!

YAY! By the way, isn’t that Demetrios dress FABULOUS?! I loved it!!

Cheers!

Santa even showed up for a dance with the bride! 🙂 Platinum DJ Productions did a great job coordinating that and keeping the dance floor packed all night!

I loved their rings and holiday decor, it made for some cool ring shots!

Later in the night, they surprised their guests with a chocolate fountain and an entire dessert buffet. Everyone loved it!

We snuck them outside for a few more night time shots before we left that night! 🙂

Thanks for a great time you guys!! More pics coming soon! 🙂
