November 2012

On 10/20, we photographed Diana & Mark’s beautiful pink & green wedding at the Illinois Street Ballroom at Crowne Plaza! Of course, I was LOVING her color choices! 😉 We started with some photos at the monument that day, then headed over to the canal for some fun shots with the wedding party. It was a beautiful Fall day!! The ballroom looked amazing, it was decked out with silver chiavari chairs with black satin sashes, gorgeous flowers, a fun photo booth for their guests, a cake that actually lit up between the layers & a surprise pizza bar for the late night snack. Mark even surprised Diana and SANG to her during the reception, it was such a sweet, awesome moment that I’m sure no one will ever forget! It was truly an awesome event!! 🙂 Thanks for a great time that day, more pics coming soon!

This pretty lady contacted us because she wanted some sexy photos of herself for her significant other for their anniversary this past Fall! She approved these photos to be posted online but we wanted to wait until after their anniversary to post them in case her hubby is familiar with our work. 😉 She emailed us after she gave him the album of photos and she said, “He LOVED the photos, and he couldn’t believe I surprised him with something like that. I think it’ll be very hard to top this when it comes to future anniversary gifts!” I LOVE it!! 🙂 If you’ve ever thought of doing something like this, check out our boudoir info by clicking HERE!!

If you know me well, you know that my favorite time of the year is Fall. I love the cool crisp air, the beautiful colors on the trees, football, hot chocolate, trips to Tuttle’s Orchard and our annual trip to Bridgeton! My Grandpa has a food truck business where he sells the most amazing Italian Beef sandwiches and he’s had a spot at the Covered Bridge Fest for the past 20 years. John & I have made it an annual tradition to go down and visit with him and enjoy the sights (and tastes) of Fall. This year, we went down on 10/16 and decided to be a bit spontaneous on the drive back, we stopped at one of the national parks ~ can’t remember which one it was now, sorry ~ but the leaves were phenomenal, the sunset was gorgeous and there were even deer that came out to be photographed!! We couldn’t believe how close we got to them before they ran off.  😉

On 10/15, we photographed my youngest sister’s senior pics at a nearby park in Carmel and then we did our annual family Christmas card photos for this year! Originally, we were planning on doing a fun shoot with Leah on 10/14 but it poured that day!! We decided to do half of her shoot before our scheduled family shoot and then the 2nd half of her shoot was done this past weekend ~ a little unconventional but we got it done! LOL! 🙂 She seriously looks like she could be a model, doesn’t she? We took some cool pics of her with the pretty Fall leaves, and some of her with her new dog, Kramer, and then at the end of the night, we even tried something new and incorporated our sparkler pics into her senior shoot! We had a fun family shoot too, even the neighbor’s cat wanted to be in on the photos! 😉

On 10/7 we also photographed Peggy with her mom and children. 🙂 We had a great time with this family, and I loved it that they brought their adorable Corgi with them as well as the “mom likes me best” t-shirts! Hilarious!!! 🙂 Thanks for a fun time you guys! More pics coming soon!!
