Caitlin + Chris = Engaged!
On 1/20 we met up with Caitlin & Chris at Monument Circle for their engagement session! 🙂 They made a super cute save the date frame for their save the date photo & then we photographed them around the monument, Market Street and our favorite alleyway. After that, they switched into their Purdue sweatshirts for some more casual shots. We even took them to Starbucks for some hot chocolate so they could warm up (it was a super cold day) and we managed to get some of my favorite Starbucks shots ever!! We also found that new candy shop on the circle and popped in there for a minute, they said that they love Twizzlers so we did a “tie the knot” shot with Caitlin’s gorgeous ring! 🙂 Caitlin has been following our work for a really long time and she told me during our first meeting that right after Chris proposed & she said yes, she said, “And we’re getting Erin!!” 🙂 I LOVE THAT!! Marie Gabriel Couture’s Grand Opening!
On 1/17, we photographed the Grand Opening of Marie Gabriel Couture, Indy’s new premier bridal salon! The salon is absolutely gorgeous, they have designer gowns & tuxes from Italy, stunning shoes & accessories, and a collection of beautiful bridal lingerie! The Ritz Charles did a fabulous job catering the event and people from all over the world (even the designers from Italy!) flew in for the occasion! It was awesome!! 🙂 Angie Kenley from Bokay provided the beautiful flowers that evening and Scott Evans from Evans A/V provided all of the lighting. The owner, Young Colling, has become a good friend of ours in this whole process and I have to say, she not only has an extensive background in the bridal salon industry but she’s one of the sweetest, most appreciative & humble people I’ve ever met. There was so much love and happiness in that room that night, it was awesome to witness the beginning of a dream that was realized for her in the opening of her own salon. Marie Gabriel’s Build Out & Staff Photos!
Throughout December & January, we did several photo shoots for our friends at Marie Gabriel Couture’s bridal salon! The first few photo shoots were of their build out process, the transformation was AMAZING!! (Just wait until I post the Grand Opening photos next!) 😉 They completely transformed what was a restaurant/night club into a gorgeous bridal salon & we had a great time taking the before/after photos as well as all of their staff photos for their website! 🙂 Brides, if you haven’t selected a wedding dress yet, click HERE to check them out!
Jessica + Marcus = Married!
On 1/12, we photographed Jessica & Marcus’ beautiful wedding & reception at the Columbia Club! It was such an amazing day full of gorgeous details to photograph, especially her dress, jewelry, shoes, flowers, cake and that ring – WOW! Loved it! 🙂 Marta Adubato did a fabulous job incorporating their love story into their ceremony which was really special. Jessica & Marcus met while ballroom dancing so needless to say, their first dance was awesome!! Jessica even changed into a 2nd dress for the reception dancing and it was perfect! Each dinner table was named after a different dance style which was really unique too. We took them outside for a few quick pics at the end of the night when the IPL building was lit up with a big red heart in their honor, it was a great ending to the day!
