September 2006

Last Saturday we photographed Kathy & Charlie’s wedding at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and their reception at the Indiana State Museum. Bloomz did an amazing job with her florals…of course, I’m partial to pink roses since I’m a pink girl too! 🙂 The weather held out perfectly for us last Saturday and we were able to get some outdoor shots on the canal with the wedding party. Kathy & Charlie took dance lessons prior to their wedding so their entire first dance was choreographed and looked amazing, they were pros on the dance floor. And of course, it was great to see more familiar faces Saturday evening! (Lisa & Kyle referred Kathy & Charlie to us) 🙂

Last Friday we photographed Mandi & Jason’s beautiful wedding at Northview Christian Church & their reception at The Fountains. Diane Harmon of Shadeland Flowers did a fabulous job with their pink & red floral theme, and Classic Cakes did an amazing job with their cake. It was great to see some familiar faces that night too! (Tracie & Token referred Mandi & Jason to us) Hope you guys are having a blast on your honeymoon!!

On September 16th, we photographed Amy & Andrew’s wedding at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville and their reception at the Murat’s Egyptian Room in downtown Indy. Everything was so beautiful and they had the coolest getaway ever! Their fake getaway corvette had the “Mr. & Mrs.” license plate on the back and then after we finished the post-ceremony pics, they joined their wedding party in the party bus that had a police escort to the reception. We all felt like royalty driving down the highway. 🙂 Crystal Catering did a fabulous job as well as Classic Cakes of course and their DJ, the Heartbreakers, is known for their awesome music videos that are played during the reception on the big screen – LOVED it!! The absolute best part of the evening though was when Andrew surprised Amy by performing with his band on stage at the Murat. He sang Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” in front of her and all of their guests and it was so sweet…it was all I could do not to cry behind the camera. 😉
