Congratulations Amy & Greg!
Last Friday evening, John & I drove to Greensburg for Amy & Greg's HUGE country wedding on Saturday. We spent the night at a local hotel and got up early the next morning to start shooting…they had a friend of theirs put directional signs on this hill, isn't that hilarious?! 🙂 It was such a beautiful day, they couldn't have asked for better weather! Check out that blue sky!! LOVE IT!
Since a lot of people in the area are farmers, we had to get a shot of this sign outside of the church…. 🙂
Meanwhile, back in the dressing room….
Amy was getting ready…
I LOVED this shot…the back of my wedding dress was very similar to this shot and it was like deja vu when I shot this! As Amy says though, "we're twins!" LOL 🙂
Go ND!!! (Sorry Greg….had to throw that in there) 😉 Amy bought this garter as a joke since Greg is NOT an ND fan…but I loved it and it made for some good laughs later….
The kids started writing on the chalk board in the church classroom where everyone was getting ready…
Amy's flowers were AMAZING!!!!! I loved the glitter sparkles painted on the flowers and the gems inside of the roses – WOW!!!
Our handsome groom….I loved their tuxes…they were so unique! 🙂
The beautiful bride…. 🙂 LOVED it!
I showed Amy this shot after I took it…it was one of her faves so I had to post it. 🙂 I added a cool cross processed look in photoshop to vary the color a bit, it's definitely another fave for the day!
HILARIOUS!!!!! We walked outside and caught one of the groomsmen sitting in the wagon….I think he's just a tad too big for it, what do you think? 🙂
Cool details…
I loved this wreath! They had so many neat details, I could've shot detail pics all day! LOL
During the ceremony…
I DO!!!! 😀
LOL!! Amy put Greg in charge of the transportation so I think she was a little worried what they'd be riding off in that day…well, after the recessional, we walked out and Greg & his groomsmen had arranged for them to ride off in this party bus that is popular in their town…and the groomsmen added their special touch to the bus….LOL
They handed out favors on the way out, which I thought was a fantastic idea! They had homemade chocolate chip cookies with their new initials on the outside of the cookies that were then wrapped up in a bag with directions to the reception attached – fab idea!!!
One of their adorable flower girls!!
Showing off her shiny red shoes….
I love it when our couples do a rose petal toss, it makes for some fun photos!
HOT!!
Their reception had a Fall theme with neat decorations and pumpkins everywhere! It was awesome!
Greg has been growing these pumpkins for awhile now so we wanted to make sure we got plenty of pumpkin shots for him! 😉
Loved the chocolate frosting cake…notice the "K" initials in the frosting? 🙂
After dinner, we took them outside for some sunset photos with the warm sunlight shining, they were amazing!!! 🙂
The perfect ending to the perfect day…. 🙂
Dancing with dad…. 🙂
Greg & Amy were so much fun to work with and their friends and family were equally awesome…everyone was so down to earth and just the nicest group of people to hang out with all night. 🙂 During the reception I put my camera around my neck to have John change the flash batteries and the camera strap got caught on my earring (one of the ones my mom gave me for our wedding!) :O and it flew off. We looked and looked for it (even the band helped us look – they were awesome by the way, they kept calling us the CIA all night since we all have headsets/radios like J. Lo in "The Wedding Planner"…LOL) anyway, no one could find my earring with all of the people around. So, I told Amy & Greg and some of the groomsmen what it looked like in case they ran across it toward the end of the night and sure enough, Amy called my cell after we got home that night and she was so cute!! She was all excited saying that Greg had found my earring!!! YAY GREG!!! 😀 Thank you so much for hunting that down, you totally made my night! 🙂 Have fun in Mackinac Island this week and eat some fudge for us!!!

Amy:
My fiance’ is a HUGE ND fan-where did you find the garter? I wanted to check last weekend at the ND bookstore (I am from South Bend) but he went with me and I want it to be a surprise.
Great pictures-your wedding was beautiful!!!
Amy
Hi Keri!
I got it off of ebay. I just did a search for Notre Dame garters and up came this wonderful little garter maker. She was great. Good luck. GO IRISH!!!!!!!
