Day 5 was crazy busy in Vegas!! 🙂 We went to an all-day Business Institute to hear Kathleen Hawkins, Mitche Graf, Mark Zucker, Sarah Petty & Kevin Kubota speak and it was well worth it! They discussed customer loyalty, pricing, marketing, albums, graphic design & promotions. After the last class, we took the night off to explore more of Vegas…I took John to the MGM to see the Lion Habitat. They were sooooo cute!!! (Like big over-sized house cats! LOL) Check out THIS VIDEO that John took that evening! After that we went across the street to New York, New York…

Then we took a tram to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay and hung out there for a few hours before heading back to Paris…

Day 6 was mostly a vacation day for us…we had been waking up early every day (not my favorite thing to do at all!!) and we got so spoiled by being able to order room service every morning. LOL I rarely ever cook so John took advantage of the amazing waffles with strawberries and whipped cream every morning….good thing he didn't expect that when we got back home! 😉

That afternoon we went to the Mirage….they had gorgeous flowers at the entrance…

And stopped by the Beatles exhibit – CLICK HERE for another video! 🙂 These cool mirrors were on the ceiling…

And the flooring changed colors to the music…very cool!

Then we went to the Forum Shops at Caesar's and had lunch at Planet Hollywood after doing some extensive shopping! 🙂

Then we headed back to the hotel for a seminar in the evening…

On the way to the ballroom, we ran into Heather & Bobbi!! Here they are being goofy…I'm not sure exactly what this was about but they broke out into this hilarious skit and it was definitely blog worthy! LOL

We've been offered the opportunity to expand our current office space by adding on an additional double suite that could be used as a small studio! Since we do a lot of head shots, modeling shoots and portrait work in between weddings, we are asking for your help in deciding whether or not to expand into a studio this year. Please take a few minutes to answers these questions for us, thanks! CLICK HERE to launch the survey!! 🙂

One of my past brides just started her own cupcake business (for weddings, birthdays, events, etc) and named one of her cupcakes after me!! How sweet! 🙂 She knows how much I love chocolate and anything pink & green so she's making a chocolate fudge "Erin" cupcake with pink colored vanilla icing & a green fondant shamrock on top. HOW CUTE! I will take a pic and post it on the blog when she brings one by my office. YUM!!! 🙂

We just launched the new Summer Bridal Show website and sent out an email blast (to our previous participating vendors) with the private link to register for booth space before the new site goes live to the public next week. If you've previously participated in one of our shows and for some reason you didn't receive that email, shoot me an email ASAP at [email protected]

Brides – if you RSVP online before the show, you'll receive free admission to the Summer Bridal Show! Go to www.summerbridalshow.com and RSVP for the event! The show will be held on Sunday, 6/1/08 from 3-7 p.m. at the Florist at Allisonville Nursery. The first 50 brides each hour to attend the event will get a fantastic complimentary gift bag full of wedding-related goodies! 🙂

Next Monday we will transfer the special link over to SummerBridalShow.com so that the new website will be viewable to everyone. As always, John at InspireMedia did an AMAZING job on the new site!! 🙂

Here we are with Yervant! 🙂 Day 4 was equally awesome…after a full day of shooting, he critiqued many images, showed us how he post processes and played a slideshow of some of his award winning magazine style albums, they were awesome! Inside Digital Photo came in that afternoon and interviewed him for one of their segments and John just happened to catch the funniest blooper EVER on video…you have to listen closely and turn up the volume (warning – not suitable for kiddos) 😉 but we had to post this…absolutely unedited and hilarious!  CLICK HERE to watch it… (P.S. We got Yervant's approval that day to post this…) 😉
