July 2008

On 6/21, we photographed Erica & Jason’s wedding & reception at Laurel Hall. The weather was touch and go all afternoon but they got SO LUCKY and it quit raining in just enough time to get the outdoor photos and ceremony in! YAY! 🙂 I caught the groom with his guys outside before they got dressed…I think they were trying to figure out whether or not to plan for the outdoor ceremony. Meanwhile, the bride was upstairs checking the online forecast…too cute…

The ring bearer’s tux – so cute and tiny! 🙂

Our handsome groom…

Just chillin’ out inside…

And hanging out with the ladies!

Colby Palmer did her flowers, they were gorgeous!!

I LOVED her triple pearl strand and dress beading – so elegant!

My husband, the saint!!!!! I had more photos to finish so he hauled all of our stuff down the stairs to the ceremony area. {XOXO}

On my way down, this decor caught my eye…wouldn’t this make a great background image in an album spread?! I’m such a photo dork…LOL

Emily Ann Thompson did a fab job with the music – as always!!

And our couple was SO thoughtful and provided cold water and fans for their guests!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shot!!!

Giving away…

So sweet!!

Oh la la!! LOL

I think it was at this point, John showed me the weather radar on his phone and there was a HUGE storm coming in. We literally had about 20 minutes to do an hour’s worth of photos! :O Amazingly, we got them ALL done and I’d like to thank my staff and all of the families and wedding party members who helped us find people and move through the photos quickly. We REALLY appreciated it!

Another favorite!

They had these trees with the seating arrangements on them…what a great idea!

And dinner was fantastic! MBP catered the meal and their ice cream bar – yes, I said ICE CREAM bar – how cool is that?! 🙂

Since the bride & groom love ice cream more than cake, they had a sundae bar which was a HUGE hit!

The dances were awesome…all of their guests surrounded them on the dance floor and started blowing bubbles behind them, so sweet!

Thanks to all of the bubble blowers, you guys helped create some awesome images for them! 🙂

Laurel Hall at night…doesn’t it look like a castle?! It’s so amazing and beautiful there!!

Hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon!! More pics coming soon! 🙂

On 6/20, we photographed Erin & Eric’s wedding & reception at Union Station’s Grand Hall Ballroom at Crowne Plaza. They are both actors in New York and were SO much fun to photograph!! Erin loves "The Little Mermaid" so we used a children’s book that was laying around to incorporate that into a ring shot – since she was marrying her "Prince Eric" 🙂

Her dog, Zoe, was in the wedding party! I knew it was going to be a fun day when I walked into the dressing room and saw this precious face posing for me!! 🙂 She was one of the most well behaved wedding party dogs I’ve ever seen…she walked right down that aisle and everyone loved her!

I LOVED her gown, isn’t it STUNNING?!

And SHE looked equally stunning!! Karen Hall & Co did a fabulous job with her hair & make-up!

Loved the hair piece too!

LOL This is so THEM!!!

Their videographer, Bob Ridge from Indy Visual (who is AWESOME and did our wedding video 5 years ago!) also followed us around for some great video footage with them. You can view his highlight video from the event by clicking HERE!

Hot model material 🙂

I love the Grand Ballroom, isn’t it just gorgeous?!

I sent John upstairs to shoot some pics during the ceremony…

Then we headed to the train cars after the wedding for some more fun pics!

Don’t they look like they belong in a fashion bridal magazine!? 🙂 Chuck from The Florist at Allisonville Nursery did her flowers, by the way…they looked gorgeous too!

LOL!! The "trapped in the glass elevator look"….see, I told you they were actors!

Eric bought Erin an Irish Claddagh ring that she always wears and since the Claddagh pub was right down the street, we went over there for a few pics after the ceremony too!

The cake looked amazing! Classic Cakes really went all out for this wedding!! We LOVED IT!!

The details were impeccable!!! Deborah Bowman and Cassandra Smith of A Touch of Elegance, LLC were the coordinators for the event and helped with everything from finding people for photos to pouring the gel into these centerpiece vases to make sure everything looked fabulous and ran smoothly. LOVED THEM!!

Quite possibly my favorite shot of the night! 🙂

They stayed in one of the train car suites that night…

Hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon!! More pics coming soon!
