May 2010

Last week, we photographed the Parties in Bloom tent at Orchard in Bloom for our wonderful friend Jamee Bryant! Each exhibitor had a themed table and hers was a firefighter themed table as you can see! Isn’t it awesome!? 🙂

She specializes in amazing event themes and decor, check her out!!

So cute! 🙂

While I was there, I noticed that a LOT of my wedding and event industry friends had booths set up too so I went ahead and took pics for everyone! 🙂 Here are some fun booths that caught my eye…the Hawaii Five-O theme from Annie-O’s! Perfect for a 50th Birthday party event!

I LOVE orchids!! Meredith & Erika from Posh Petals did a fabulous job on this centerpiece! WOW

Scott Evans from Evans A/V provided the green lighting and although I was there when it was super bright outside, I can only imagine how awesome it looked at night! 🙂 The props and decor were provided by the Impact Group and the tables, chairs, dishes and tents were provided by A Classic Party Rental. The linens were provided by BBJ Linen.

Tiffany from SweeTies Gourmet Treats provided the individual cakes for each place setting, which perfectly matched the overall theme. We even stopped by her new shop in Broadripple that night for dessert and I have to say, it was so yummy!! 🙂

This next table was designed by Premier Events and the colors were right up my alley! 😉

Palmer-Kelley Designs did a fantastic job on these centerpieces!!

I’ve always had a love obsession with chiavari chairs!!

Ilene from Classic Cakes provided this adorable individual cake for the table, isn’t it beautiful?!

Loved the ornate floral details!!

Palm Court Design was also in the Parties in Bloom tent!

They showcased an English tea-looking exhibit with fresh cut roses coming out of tea pots and all kinds of neat decor!

They hung jars of flowers from branches overhead…

And the detail work was phenomenal!

After I finished at the Parties tent, I walked next door to the Weddings in Bloom tent, just to see what was there and I found all kinds of neat booths set up! Kim King-Smith did a great job on this nautical themed table!!

A Bride’s Choice Florist provided the flowers for this fun Girls Night Out themed table…and of course my friends Erika Gregory and Jamee Bryant provided the tabletop decor and accessories…and A Classic provided the rentals!

This neat set up was designed by Annie-O’s and Posh Petals with the linens were provided by BBJ and rentals by A Classic! I loved the centerpiece vases, aren’t they unique? 🙂

Whew! I think I’ve credited everyone whose names I saw on the tables but if I’ve missed you somehow, please email me and let me know! I like to give credit where credit is due! 😉 Congrats to everyone who participated in Orchard in Bloom, you were ALL AMAZING!!

Yesterday, we had our Spring class photo shoot with Karen Hall & Company…a couple of times each year, Karen teaches make-up artistry classes to up and coming make-up artists and the last part of the class is a group photo shoot, which is where we come in! 😉 It’s always fun seeing the new talent, coming up with fresh ideas & themes and working with awesome models! When I walked in, the first thing I saw were these awesome White House| Black Market accessories. I knew it was going to be a fun shoot!! Here’s Tanya working a “Modern Monroe” look…

AdriAnne’s first look was a fantasy butterfly theme…

Lensi needed some swimsuit shots for her portfolio so we started with some cute, girly swimsuit pics with her…

Carmanny looked stunning as an urban fairy 🙂

Tanya’s 2nd look was a more casual/catalog style…I loved her zebra top!

Then we went outside for a few rainy day photos 🙂

Carmanny rocked the fedora hat!

AdriAnne showed off her cool accessories 🙂

Lensi’s 2nd look was a crazy fashion rock n roll runway look, isn’t it wild?! LOL

I played around a bit in photoshop with this one…

LOVE IT….

The whole gang…thanks for a great time ladies!! More pics coming soon! 🙂

Last weekend, we photographed the whole staff of Classic Cakes and their amazing cakes for their NEW website that my husband is developing for them!! I can’t wait to see it when it’s done, I’ve already seen the “work in progress” site and it’s AMAZING!! Check out the awesome detail work in their cakes…

Love the cake topper, so fun!!

Cake & fondant that looks like sushi! Wow…

Can you tell I LOVE their damask cakes?! 🙂

This one is fun too! Love the bright colors…

Sprinkles make everything happy!! 🙂

Hard at work…

And of course I wanted to post a pic of my friend, Ilene, the owner of Classic Cakes! 🙂 She has an incredible business here in Indy and her cakes are amazing!! My favorite is her almond pound cake with buttercream frosting…yum! 🙂

Thanks for a great time! More pics coming soon!! 🙂

Last weekend, we photographed Amy’s housewarming party here in Indy! Her new house is so pretty!! 🙂

When we arrived, she was finishing up hanging frames…this pic pretty much summed it up! 😉

YAY! Amy with her new keys to the house…as you can see, she’s a happy camper!

Lookin’ like a rock star…

Check out the reflection 🙂

Amy is a HUGE fan of all things Harley Davidson so we took some pics of the gift bag that one of her guests brought to the party! 🙂

Oh and she’s a big concert buff…she’s been to so many concerts and even has a cool guitar in her room!

They had tons of good food & drinks at the party… 🙂

Yum…this veggie pizza looked so good!!

Her mom made this apple cake that was AMAZING!! We seriously need the recipe!

Amy and her BFFs!!

Amy’s niece was checking out the cake 😉

We took some cute family/kids/couples pics with all of the guests that were there…I LOVED this one of Amy’s nieces together on the white picket fence in their cute sandals and skirts! 🙂

Aren’t they ADORABLE?!

Thanks for a fun time last weekend!! More pics coming soon! 🙂
