November 2011

Many of you know one of our favorite wedding planning teams, Deborah Bowman & Cassie Smith from A Touch of Elegance…well, Cassie is adorably pregnant and due any day now!! 🙂 We headed out to Avon Gardens for her maternity shoot the weekend before her AWESOME baby shower (which will be posted next!) and I wanted to post some of my favorites from their photo shoot! 🙂 Since she’s having a November baby, I thought the pumpkin shot would go along well with this time of year! 😉

Cassie & her husband Dustin are SO cute together! They’re going to be great parents!

LOVE IT!

Butterfly kisses 🙂

Waiting for baby Grayson…

LOL 🙂

I LOVE this shot of Cassie, isn’t she so adorable? 🙂

They found these letters that spell out Grayson’s name, I love using props for photo shoots! 🙂

Another favorite! 🙂

So sweet!!

I adore this one! 🙂

Deborah came along to the photo shoot too! I turned around and saw her sitting pretty on this bench, I thought maybe this would be a good profile pic for facebook or their website?! 🙂

Awwww 🙂

John got this shot of me with Deborah & Cassie at the very end…definitely another favorite! 🙂

Thanks for a fun time you guys and thanks for allowing us to capture this awesome moment in your lives! XOXO

On 9/24, we photographed Crystal & Joe’s gorgeous Fall wedding at Plum Creek Golf Club! I know I’ve said this before but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fall weddings!!! Oberer’s flowers did an amazing job on her bouquet! Isn’t it stunning?!

Loved the candlelight throughout the reception hall…

So happy together!

Crystal was inspired by the candy buffet in my office and decided to have one at her reception! LOVED that!

And of course, I thought it would make the perfect ring shot! 🙂

Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 🙂

On 9/20 we met up with this pretty lady for a sexy boudoir shoot at Hotel Indigo in Fishers (one of our favorite boudoir-worthy hotels!) Her name remains anonymous but she has agreed to allow us to post these photos, no worries! 😉 We started off with a few casual head shots while she wore her fiance’s Colts jersey!

Then moved on to something a little more sexy 🙂

There was an awesome sunset that night! She was brave enough to climb up on the windowsill in heels and pose for a few silhouettes! LOVED it! 🙂

Oh la la!! I think her fiance’s going to love these! 🙂

Thanks for a fun time! 🙂 More pics coming soon!

On 9/17, we photographed Allie & Jeff’s beautiful Fall themed wedding! I LOVE Fall weddings and all of the beautiful flowers that go with them…this gorgeous bouquet was created by Stephen Craig at Adriene’s! Kathy Moberly & Evolve Salon did a great job on Allie’s hair & make-up, she looked stunning! 🙂

They are such an adorable couple, aren’t they? 🙂

LOVE!

The Hilton has some really great photo opps, including this one under their awning! Love it! 🙂

Allie & Jeff were married at the State House so I wanted to make sure that we got lots of shots along Market Street that day! 😉

We LOVE State House weddings! It’s sooooo pretty in there! 🙂

John’s view from up top!

YAY!! Bubbles!!

After the ceremony, the guys all changed into their comfy shoes! 🙂

Loved the uplighting in the ballroom!!

Their reception was at the Hilton downtown, we love working there! Jennifer and her staff are always amazing and every detail is perfect! 🙂

Holy Cow Cupcakes provided the yummy amazingness that evening! 🙂 The BBJ linens were a nice touch too!

Be on the look out for these cupcake photos in the next issue of Indianapolis Monthly!! They just might be featured there! 😉

First dance…

I LOVE it when the groom dips the bride at the end!! Good job, Jeff! 🙂

We took them outside for a few more night time shots downtown…loved this one!

Favorite! 🙂

My favorite part of every wedding day is when we surprise the bride & groom with a folio of sample images from their wedding day at the end of the reception, they LOVE it and I LOVE their reactions! 🙂

Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 🙂

A few days after Aunt Mary’s surprise party, John & I had one more surprise up our sleeve! 🙂 As some of you know, my dad plays in the Notre Dame fantasy football camp every Summer in Notre Dame stadium through the Global Football program. He has trained long and hard for the final game of his football career which ended on 9/9, which was also my birthday! His final game was a bowl game against the Penn State fantasy football guys and we surprised him by making the long trek out to Penn State to shoot his final game. What an adventure that trip was!! We had booked a hotel room at the Crowne Plaza in Hershey, PA down by the river and the day that we made it to PA, it was raining but it didn’t look too bad outside. We had planned to spend the next day in Hershey to take the tours and celebrate my birthday but by the next morning, it had rained so much that Hershey Park was flooded and it was under 5 feet of water! There was a state of emergency in place, we had to pack up and evacuate the hotel and we drove 2 hours north in the mountains to get closer to Penn State, but we weren’t sure where we were going to stay! We almost had to give up the surprise but with the help of the Marriott app on my iPhone, we found a place nearby to stay, which is nearly impossible on a big game weekend like that! We surprised dad at his first practice when he came off the bus with the guys, it was awesome! The next day, he showed up to the field wearing a #99 jersey and right then, I knew his team was going to win. My lucky number is 9 (birthday is 9/9) and he was wearing #99 on 9/9 so it was meant to be! 🙂

Both teams together before the game…

Super serious during practice!

Run Country, run! 🙂

Dad making a kick…

The winning team!!!! YEP, THEY WON! 🙂

Dad with the bowl trophy!

Sweet success! 🙂

Yay!!

Even on the road, the Irish still have their Play Like a Champion sign. 🙂

We all went out for a celebratory dinner afterwards and it was a fun night with dad and his football buddies! 🙂

Congrats on the final win dad!! We love you!!
