Michael + Chris = Engaged!
We photographed Chris & Michael’s engagement shoot at the Indiana State Fair this year! I was SUPER excited for their shoot since we’ve never had anyone do a shoot there and I’ve always thought that would be a fun place! 🙂

Kari + John = Engaged!!
We photographed Kari & John’s engagement session at Holcomb Gardens in August (yeah, I’m a bit behind on blogging….been super busy shooting!!) but we had a great time with them and their cute pup, Boomer! 🙂 They are such an adorable couple and they both graduated from Butler so it made perfect sense to go back there for their engagement shoot! 🙂
Boomer was quite the poser! LOL 🙂
Of course, he would do anything for our squeaky toy & a treat! 😉

Elizabeth + Klynt = Married!
On 7/30, we photographed Elizabeth & Klynt’s beautiful wedding & reception at St. Mary of the Woods College! It was great to be back at the Woods again and to be photographing another former Woodsie’s wedding! 🙂 It wouldn’t be a true Woodsie wedding without photographing “the ring” 😉
They were such a fun couple, super laid back and up for anything, my favorite type of people! 🙂
Their wedding was at Church of the Immaculate Conception which is STUNNING! Great window light in there too! 🙂
We went outside for some photos around the grounds that day, it was such a pretty day!

Their reception was in the Le Fer Ballroom, Tiers of Elegance did a great job on their cake & cupcakes! As you can see, they’re Disney fanatics and they even honeymooned there!! 🙂

Sarah + Steve = Married!
On 7/24 we photographed Sarah & Steve’s beautiful garden wedding at the Indy Zoo’s White River Gardens! They chose to see each other beforehand and do their private moment in the garden area…I LOVE that! 🙂 The reactions are so authentic when it’s just us and them. 🙂
Sarah looked so beautiful!! Karen Hall & Company did a great job on her hair & make-up!

Their first dance was held outside among all of their family & friends…I captured this shot with our fisheye lens…
While Melissa captured this awesome shot just opposite of me! I think it’s necessary to have 2 photographers at every event so that you can get multiple angles like this! 😉
They had these cute bride & groom ducks floating in one of the nearby water features. We thought it would be a cool ring shot!
Of course, they also had awesome flowers to choose from too! Lilly Lane did a fab job on the bouquets!
The reception was in the Hulman River House which overlooks the Indy skyline! We worked with Deborah Sheeran of Deborah Sheeran Weddings of Distinction and she did an awesome job setting everything up and coordinating the event! 🙂 She & her husband are so sweet too, they’re always fun to be around!
Can you tell they’re web developers?! John was LOVING this cake of course! 😉 Indy Cakes did a great job on this!

On 7/23, we photographed Lisa & Andy’s beautiful wedding at The Hawthorn’s! I LOVED her hot pink shoes and bright colored flowers. The Design Group did a great job on the bouquets!
