May 2018

We recently met up with our friend/past client Jessica who traveled from Terre Haute to have us do some updated head shots for her, as well as our past clients Mandy & Scott who have added a new addition to their family since the last time we saw them at their wedding! It was great to meet Kaden and I have to say, his expressions are PRICELESS!! 🙂

We met up with Sarah & Stu last night for their engagement shoot at Holcomb Gardens! They brought some Scrabble pieces with them for a cute prop shot and I have to say, the “forever” ring shot in the gazebo is one of my new faves! They were so much fun to photograph and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!! 🙂

We photographed this sweet couple’s wedding at The Sycamore at Mallow Run a few weeks ago and it was such a fun day!! I actually met the bride and her parents a few years ago when we did a photo shoot for her mom’s author head shots in Broadripple so it was awesome that we had the chance to work together again for Cassie & Grant’s big day! 🙂 I loved all of her personalized details, everything was so cute! Of course, you all know I’m crazy for kitties so I was freaking out when a nearby tabby cat named Frisbee joined them for photos after the wedding! LOL Another favorite moment was when the bride’s grandma danced to Michael Jackson at the end of the night, it was priceless. Thanks for a fun time you guys! 🙂

 In Cassie’s words…

1.      How did he propose? “He proposed by taking me to my favorite place in San Antonio. We were walking through the Japanese flower and tea garden and I asked him to take a picture with me and as I put the phone in front of us he pulled a ring out and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said, “aw” like 10 times before I could say yes!” 🙂

2.      What was your favorite wedding moment? “My favorite wedding moment was when Grant saw me for the first time and he teared  up. He’s not emotional so to see him get teary eyed when he saw me made my heart skip a beat.”

3.      What was his favorite wedding moment? “He said it was when I walked down the aisle.”

4.      What was the funniest wedding moment? “I think it was when our minister yelled, “Woo hoo!” We were not expecting that or the “mwarriage” comment so that was pretty funny to us.”

5.      What was your first dance song? “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton

6.      Where did you go on your honeymoon? “Secrets in Cabo”

7.      What advice would you give to future brides? “I would tell them that yes all the little details matter, but at the end of the day you are marrying your best friend and at the end of the day all those tiny things you stressed about don’t really matter.” (I couldn’t agree more!)
