Personal

These last few days have been filled with lots of fun, we’ve been visiting with family for Thanksgiving and an early birthday party for my dad! Classic Cakes made the cutest cake for his b-day that even featured a gum paste jersey cut out to go along with his Notre Dame cake. 🙂 Loved it!! We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Happy early birthday dad!! XOXO

On 11/9 we headed down to Nashville where John walked/jogged in his 2nd Mini Marathon with my aunt & cousin! I was so proud of all of them for finishing ~ it was a really tough course with a LOT more hills than what we have here in Indy! 😉 While we were in town, we also got together with my cousin Jessica who is pregnant and due in about a month! We had a fun family dinner together and took some pics of her cute family (and cute belly!) and their adorable furbabies. Thanks for a fun night you guys! 🙂

On 11/4, we met up with my youngest sister Leah for her senior photos at a nearby barn, where she works. She is so adorably cute and we had a great time taking photos with the horses and barn animals. 🙂 I took a photo several years ago of her walking her horse out of a barn and I really wanted to replicate that shot for her senior pics, so we can frame them and put them together on the wall. It’s amazing how fast time flies and how quickly she grew up! LOL! Leah also wanted some cool photos around Broadripple, she seriously looks like a model in these pics. I LOVED them!! Congrats on your upcoming graduation Leah!! XOXO

I LOVE Fall & all of the fun stuff that comes with it…I’ve been trying to take more personal photos in between client photo shoots this season so this is all a bit random. (Carving pumpkins, Halloween, Bailey’s Birthday, decorating for Christmas & celebrating my mom’s birthday) 🙂 We’ve had so much going on lately but I wanted to post some photos on here that some of you may have seen on Facebook already. If you know me well, you know that my favorite time of the year is Fall. I love the cool crisp air, the beautiful colors on the trees, football, hot chocolate, trips to Tuttle’s Orchard and our annual trip to Bridgeton! My Grandpa has a food truck business where he sells the most amazing Italian Beef sandwiches and he’s had a spot at the Covered Bridge Fest for the past 20 years. John & I have made it an annual tradition to go down and visit with him and enjoy the sights (and tastes) of Fall. This year, we went down on 10/16 and decided to be a bit spontaneous on the drive back, we stopped at one of the national parks ~ can’t remember which one it was now, sorry ~ but the leaves were phenomenal, the sunset was gorgeous and there were even deer that came out to be photographed!! We couldn’t believe how close we got to them before they ran off.  😉
