This past weekend, we stayed at the Opryland Hotel. My mom & I had a "girls mini vacation" there last March and heard that it was worth seeing again during the holidays when it's all decorated for Christmas. They weren't kidding! The place was packed with people but we still had fun shopping, hanging out and taking pics. John came with us for this trip since we took the whole weekend off. He loves Christmas lights so he loved it there!! Here was my favorite shop…they had the cutest animal-related gifts here….

GORGEOUS!!!

We ate at Volare's restaurant one evening and this was the view over our table. They had the best Italian food and an incredible atmosphere!! (Shot with the D200, f/4, 1/30th sec, no flash, 1250 ISO, hand held on "vibrant" setting = AMAZING!)

On 11/17, we photographed Gina & Scott's wedding & reception at the Children's Museum! (Isn't Gina beautiful?!) The museum is such a cool, unique venue and it makes for some neat photos. The Chihuly "Fireworks of Glass" is on display right now (the same AMAZING glass blower whose work was in the lobby of the Bellagio in March, click here to see that exhibit!)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!!! The whole carousel area was open for us to shoot pics and I think I would've stayed there if we didn't have other things to shoot…LOL These awesome lights changed against the white wall, it was amazing! (And to the photographers out there – this was hand-held, no flash, ISO 1000 I believe…shot with the D200) 🙂 The colors were truly this vibrant!!

As a lot of you know, we do fashion photo shoots many times throughout the year with Karen Hall & Co. They are SO MUCH FUN!! This post from last month's shoot explains all about it just in case you missed it. 😉 We are looking for models for the next class photo shoot which will be held in February next year. (We take a break in December & January for the holidays and the bridal shows) E-mail me if you're interested in being in the next shoot, the modeling photo shoot fee is only $100 and you'll get an image CD from your photo shoot afterwards. They make great portfolio shots if you're looking to start or expand your current modeling portfolio. 🙂

We arrived at Barb's home to meet many furbabies…I'm such an animal lover so I was so excited for this photo shoot! The kitty above, Zeus, was VERY photogenic as was his mommy, Barb, who is a pilates instructor. She needed some fresh new head shots for some marketing materials she's working on so we headed to her in-home pilates studio for her photo shoot.

If any of you are looking for an amazing pilates instructor to get in shape before your wedding, e-mail me for Barb's info!

On 11/10, we photographed Andrea & Kent's gorgeous Zionsville wedding and downtown reception! Their dog Charley made his first appearance on the blog back in May and this month he was dressed up with his bow tie for the wedding. 🙂 We started out shooting the getting ready pictures at their home…this was Andrea's "something blue"…LOL

It was a perfect day for a wedding!

The bridesmaids were hilarious, they wrapped a gift box ribbon that matched their dress colors all over this Barbie and made her an honorary bridesmaid for the day. LOL We had to use her in a few photos of course…

Chuck from Allisonville Nursery did a great job with the flowers!
