Kristi & Nick’s Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner!
On 6/28, we photographed Kristi & Nick’s fun wedding rehearsal at Northminster Presbyterian Church & their rehearsal dinner at Capri Restaurant! They have the nicest friends & family and everyone had such a fun time together that night. I think you could feel the love, happiness and excitement in the photos from the rehearsal evening. 🙂 Of course, it helps that we’ve gotten to know them and their families really well through the entire planning process since we photographed their adorable puppy for their Kirles Jewelers billboard ad photo shoot and my awesome vow renewal anniversary ring came from their jewelry store too!! 🙂 We just adore them & their families!! The Westin Indianapolis!
We were recently contacted by The Westin Indianapolis about coming in to shoot their newly renovated, beautiful guest rooms! John & I have a mutual love for the Westin, not only for their Heavenly Beds & Starbucks but also because that’s where we stayed on our wedding night! Good memories! 🙂 They have great service, great staff, amazing views of downtown and of course, these gorgeous new rooms!! 🙂 Here’s a sneak peek!!
Stephanie + Colton = Married!
On 6/22, we photographed Stephanie & Colton’s wedding & reception at Oak Hill Mansion! They are such a cute couple, and their son, the ring bearer, was the happiest baby I’ve ever seen! SO cute!! I loved Stephanie’s shoes, flowers, dress & their fun wedding party that day, they were up for anything! Luckily we were able to get a ton of their photos done outside before the weather turned on us, thank goodness for indoor back-up plans! 😉 They had a super sweet ceremony and they included Colton’s daughter in the sand ceremony which was really sweet. Michelle + Justin = Engaged!
On 8/15, we met up with Michelle & Justin at the monument for their engagement session last week! They are super cute together! We took pics around the monument, fountain, flowers, alleyway & Market Street to capture their love for one another at all of our favorite spots! Justin did an amazing job on her engagement ring so we even took some beautiful close-ups of her bling too!! 🙂 Thanks for a fun time you guys, more pics coming soon!
Kitty’s 60th Birthday Surprise Party!
On 8/11, my dad, sisters and I pulled off a surprise party for my step-mom’s 60th birthday! Our whole family helped with set-up and kept up with the undercover story that my sisters were going to take Kitty out for lunch and manicures while the rest of us managed to pull off the set-up of cake, flowers, food, drinks, photo booth & a DVD slideshow in a short timeframe. By the time they got back, set-up was complete, cars were hidden and 50 of her closest friends & family members were in the living room yelling, “Surprise!!” The look on her face was priceless! At the end of the night, we had one more surprise for her. All of her friends and family (and some people who wanted to attend but were unable to) wrote letters to her that included special memories and things they’ve experienced together over the years. Needless to say, I think it was her best birthday ever! Thank you to everyone who helped pull it off & make it an awesome party!! 🙂
