On 10/23, we met up with Jessica & Logan at Oliver Winery in Bloomington! It was a perfect Fall day for an engagement shoot and they were so much fun to photograph! 🙂

Love!!

Some Fall bling 🙂

Even though it was packed at the winery that day, we were able to take a few shots inside their wine tasting area, which was super cool for photos! 🙂

On 10/14, we photographed Sara & Trent’s beautiful Fall wedding down in Brown County at Salt Creek Golf Retreat! They decided to do all of their photos before the ceremony so we set up a private moment for them to see each other for the first time after everyone got ready. I love this shot of Sara sneaking up behind him! Aren’t they adorable?! 🙂

Sara could be a model, seriously! She’s stunning!! Karen Hall & Company did a fabulous job on her hair & make-up!!

Our handsome groom, Trent….

Some of my favorite outdoor photos were of just the two of them alone on the golf course! It was a beautiful day and the leaves looked amazing. I think they had fun out there too! 🙂

Trent watching his bride walk down the aisle…

Sara’s mom gave her away…so sweet!

“I do!”

Yay!!

Sara’s sister did a great job making their cake!

Sara was actually a bridesmaid in Ashley & James’ wedding a few years ago! They just had a beautiful baby boy and it was great to catch up with them again that evening! 🙂

Sara danced with her grandpa that night…

I loved Sara & Trent’s rings, they were so pretty and unique! 🙂

LOVE!!

And of course, we took them outside for some fun sparkler photos at the end of the night!

Thanks for a great time you guys! More pics coming soon! 🙂

A few days after Aunt Mary’s surprise party, John & I had one more surprise up our sleeve! 🙂 As some of you know, my dad plays in the Notre Dame fantasy football camp every Summer in Notre Dame stadium through the Global Football program. He has trained long and hard for the final game of his football career which ended on 9/9, which was also my birthday! His final game was a bowl game against the Penn State fantasy football guys and we surprised him by making the long trek out to Penn State to shoot his final game. What an adventure that trip was!! We had booked a hotel room at the Crowne Plaza in Hershey, PA down by the river and the day that we made it to PA, it was raining but it didn’t look too bad outside. We had planned to spend the next day in Hershey to take the tours and celebrate my birthday but by the next morning, it had rained so much that Hershey Park was flooded and it was under 5 feet of water! There was a state of emergency in place, we had to pack up and evacuate the hotel and we drove 2 hours north in the mountains to get closer to Penn State, but we weren’t sure where we were going to stay! We almost had to give up the surprise but with the help of the Marriott app on my iPhone, we found a place nearby to stay, which is nearly impossible on a big game weekend like that! We surprised dad at his first practice when he came off the bus with the guys, it was awesome! The next day, he showed up to the field wearing a #99 jersey and right then, I knew his team was going to win. My lucky number is 9 (birthday is 9/9) and he was wearing #99 on 9/9 so it was meant to be! 🙂

Both teams together before the game…

Super serious during practice!

Run Country, run! 🙂

Dad making a kick…

The winning team!!!! YEP, THEY WON! 🙂

Dad with the bowl trophy!

Sweet success! 🙂

Yay!!

Even on the road, the Irish still have their Play Like a Champion sign. 🙂

We all went out for a celebratory dinner afterwards and it was a fun night with dad and his football buddies! 🙂

Congrats on the final win dad!! We love you!!

On 7/30, we photographed Elizabeth & Klynt’s beautiful wedding & reception at St. Mary of the Woods College! It was great to be back at the Woods again and to be photographing another former Woodsie’s wedding! 🙂 It wouldn’t be a true Woodsie wedding without photographing “the ring” 😉

They were such a fun couple, super laid back and up for anything, my favorite type of people! 🙂

Their wedding was at Church of the Immaculate Conception which is STUNNING! Great window light in there too! 🙂

We went outside for some photos around the grounds that day, it was such a pretty day!

I loved her shoes & flowers!

Fun wedding party shot! 🙂

GORGEOUS church!!

After the ceremony, we headed over to the infamous bridge for a few photos…

Their reception was in the Le Fer Ballroom, Tiers of Elegance did a great job on their cake & cupcakes! As you can see, they’re Disney fanatics and they even honeymooned there!! 🙂

Yum!

I loved their rings, they were so unique & pretty!

LOL! I love cute kid photos! 🙂

We captured this shot during their first dance, aren’t they adorable together?! 🙂

Gorgeous venue + video light = LOVE!!
