John’s Birthday Trip to Sanibel!
A few months ago, I surprised my hubby with a trip to our favorite vacation destination, Sanibel Island, for his birthday!! 🙂 We’ve been so incredibly busy shooting lately that we must have really looked like we needed a break because everywhere we went, we were upgraded! LOL! From the flight, to the rental car to the top floor hotel suite, it was an AWESOME trip and I wish we could have stayed longer! 🙂

We had a double birthday celebration at the Green Flash one night!
The last night we were there, Kristie made us a fabulous dinner and we hung out at her place. She was pet sitting for a friend of hers so Gershwin got his own little photo shoot that night. He was adorable!!! 🙂

Jeanne + Josh = Married!
On 6/4, we photographed Jeanne & Josh’s beautiful wedding at St. Paul Catholic Center & reception at Alumni Hall at the Indiana Memorial Union in Bloomington! Artful Blooms did a great job on her bouquet! Melissa Conk & Crystal Bare of Totally You in Greensburg did an awesome job on Jeanne’s hair & make-up too…doesn’t Jeanne have the prettiest red hair?! Love it! 🙂
Josh was SO cute! He was so excited to say his vows…adorable!

The reception site looked STUNNING!! Seriously, we were in awe when we walked in. Hannah Trowbridge from Social Butterfly was their event coordinator and she did a great job on all of the decor, coordination and set-up. Hannah, you ROCK! 🙂
She created this ribbon chandelier as the centerpiece for the room! Isn’t it amazing?!

Giselle’s Newborn Photos!
On Tuesday, we photographed Giselle’s newborn photos down in Terre Haute for one of our past wedding couples, Ashley & Othmane. (Remember their awesome La Jolla wedding?) 🙂 Well, they just gave birth to their brand new beautiful baby girl, Giselle!!

Kelly’s 5K Walk!
On 4/2, we went up to Valparaiso for our friend Kelly’s 5K walk for cystic fibrosis. Kelly is an AMAZING woman and she has defied so many odds in her life. To read more about her, click HERE! 🙂 She is truly the most determined person I know…she decided that she wanted to create a charitable organization called Care CF (website coming soon) where she could assist other CF patients by providing care packages to them during their extended hospital stays. She raised pledges for each mile that she walked and I know for a fact that she raised hundreds of dollars and received LOTS of care package donations! My blog readers alone donated $250 and 3-4 huge boxes FULL of stuff for her care packages!! (THANK YOU ALL!!) 🙂
Kelly made this poster with photos of other friends of hers with CF. She wanted to put a face to the disease and she also wanted her friends to “cross the finish line” with her. She’s so awesome!

Chicago Trip!
We’ve been so busy with traveling and shooting that I haven’t had much time to blog, but I wanted to post a few fun photos from our recent Chicago trip! 🙂 We stayed at The Wit Hotel in Chicago for a few days at the end of March and we had a blast!
I loved the decor in the hotel, it was super cool…
We went to Water Tower to shop…loved this vintage dress…
Papyrus even had a dress made out of invitations! LOL
7 floors of SHOPPING!! 🙂
While we were in the area, we had to stop by the famous Sprinkles cupcake shop!
Then we went to Navy Pier, it was a lot of fun!
LOL John LOVES Haagen Dazs, especially their Dulche Split Dazzler!
