October 2008

Last Friday, we photographed Shannon & JM’s wedding & reception at The Monon Center in Carmel. Her gown & her flowers were absolutely STUNNING!! 🙂 Chuck Eaglin (owner of the new Indy Floral Design) did her flowers and wow, wow, wow!!!

Here’s the locket that Shannon’s dad bought the day she was born….Chuck wrapped it up in her bouquet. 🙂

Are you kidding me?!?! GORGEOUS!!

Her eyes were amazing!! We managed to get some outdoor photos right before and right after the ceremony…they were predicting a 90% chance of rain that day and everything was moved inside but the clouds broke just in time to snap some gorgeous pics!

I love how much she adores JM!!

Making out in the stairwell after the wedding… 🙂

Such a cute couple!!!!

We were so excited that the Fall leaves were perfect and the sun came out to shine on them right at this moment! Shannon said she’s always wanted her wedding pics against the beautiful Fall leaves and her dreams came true!! YAY!

The sunset was gorgeous that night!!

You all know how much I love pink & lime green!! When I walked into the reception hall, I found the coolest looking cake! (The Ritz Charles provided their cake and catering and they did a fabulous job!)

Hi Adrianne & Elliott!! Thanks for referring Shannon & JM to us!! 🙂

The groom’s grandparents won the anniversary dance and this was such a cute moment!! I love how they’re watching them dance in the background!

Cool ring shots!!

Thanks for a great time you guys!! Hope you’re having fun in California this week! 🙂

***This is a re-post since my original post got buried under a TON of photos! 🙂 ***

Last week, Melissa (one of my fantastic side shooters!!) came over to my dad’s house to shoot our family photos for our Christmas card. We shared the shooting duties during this shoot since I had to be IN some of the pics! LOL She did a fabulous job as always, thanks Melissa!!! 🙂 Here’s our adorable furbaby, Mickey…

LOL I have no vertical jumping abilities…as shown below…but Leah & John did an awesome job! 🙂

Here’s dad, the ND football hero… 🙂 XOXO

And Leah…she’s so adorable…:)

And here’s a head shot of myself that I actually like – yay!! I usually hate to be in front of the camera…lol…yeah, how ironic, right?!?! 🙂

My new FAVORITE shot of me & John together…I’m thinking this is going to be our Christmas card this year!! LOVE IT!

Dad & Kitty with Mickey…so cute!

Mary & Leah having fun together…more pics of just the two of them coming soon too!!! 😉

Thanks Melissa for all of the awesome photos and memories! {Hugs!!}

After Jaime & Jake’s shoot, we headed north to Anderson where we met up with Ellen, Matt & their adorable dog Maya for their engagement session at Shadyside Park! Ellen & I actually graduated high school together so when she got engaged, she gave me a call and YES we were open for her date in April! YAY! 🙂

As you can tell, they brought along some dog treats so that Maya would pose well…it worked!! LOL

She’s such an adorable furbaby!!

Here’s our handsome groom to be….

And beautiful bride-to-be!

Some of Ellen’s family haven’t seen her ring yet so we did a few set up shots with the bling just for them! 😉

And you all know how much I love feet/shoe shots! LOL Maya got in on the action… 🙂

Thanks for a fun time you guys, more pics coming soon!!

After Serena’s shoot, we headed to Holcomb Gardens to photograph Jaime & Jake’s engagement shoot. They are such a cute couple and they’re so animated and in love, I LOVE THAT!! Here’s their “newspaper” engagement shot…

Then on to more creative & fun shots!

The sky was so cool that day and the sunlight was perfect for a “starburst” photo 🙂

LOVED this IR shot!! (Especially with the clouds, aren’t they amazing?!?!)

I usually like to do a few individual head shots during engagement shoots…it may seem silly but now he has a gorgeous shot of his beautiful wife-to-be for his desk at work!!! 🙂

And now she has an adorable recent shot of her husband-to-be for her desk at work too!! 🙂 Aren’t Jake’s eyes gorgeous?! OMG…they’re SO BLUE!

Thanks for a fun time you guys, more pics coming soon!! I can’t wait til the wedding! 🙂
