Jill + Wilson = ENGAGED!!
Last weekend we photographed Jill & Wilson’s engagement session down at IU and had so much fun with them! I’ve known Jill for a long time (we went to school together!) but it was our first chance meeting her soon-to-be husband, Wilson, and their precious furbaby, Mr. Burns! 🙂 Isn’t this adorable?!?!
Jill wanted to capture the Fall leaves in their photos and I think we timed it perfectly! Usually by the first weekend of November, the trees can be a little bare but we got super lucky with the weather and the leaves seemed to fall late this year which meant awesome pics for them! 🙂 YAY!!
Mr. Burns even loved the leaves!! (And the dog toy I brought with me) 😉

Holiday Mart 2008!
The week before last, many of you saw me at Holiday Mart, volunteering at the Mistletoe Madness booth and helping with set-up and tear-down. I had so much fun with all of my Junior League girls!!! We managed to raise over $14,000 for JLI just in the Mistletoe Madness booth ALONE! That money will go towards all of our various charity projects throughout the year, YAY!! 🙂
The Mistletoe Madness booth consisted of about 30 different vendors within our one booth, it was HUGE!! These two ladies, Darla & Kim, worked their rears off to make sure everything was organized and looked amazing, which helped lead to the overall success of our booth…thank you ladies!!! 🙂
Our vendors had such ADORABLE items for sale!!! Check out these cute children’s bibs!

We had a ton of hand painted items, all of our merchants were SO talented!!
I got a lot of my Christmas shopping started during that week and if you didn’t make it to Holiday Mart this year, definitely plan to check it out next year, it was SO much fun!! 🙂
Two stray kitties need a good home!!
One of my clients emailed me this week to see if I could get the word out about 2 stray kitties that showed up on her doorstep. They are so adorably cute and I would love to take them in but we have a full house right now and so does Cats Haven, a no kill cat shelter here in Indy. Rachel took these pics and emailed them to me so that I could see if any of you would want to take them in. She said they’re afraid of humans right now but she’s feeding them, so over time, they’ll learn to love humans. 🙂

October class photo shoot!
Yesterday, we held our October class photo shoot at Karen Hall & Company & we had so many amazing models for this shoot!! The first one above is Anna, you probably remember her from her senior portrait session that we photographed a few weeks ago…she’s a complete natural in front of the camera! The 2nd model below is my adorable sister Mary!! They did such an amazing job on her hair & make-up, she looked so cute!

Our 3rd model was Olivia, who was there to get some head shots for White Cliffs Hair Studio. This wig looked so amazingly natural on her!! Remember she was in our last photo shoot too? Her mom brought me a copy of Indianapolis Woman magazine yesterday and my “bubble gum shot” made it in the magazine! YAY! She’s modeling a beautiful dress by Nikki Blaine Couture who was also on set for the photo shoot…I love having so many creative minds in one place at one time! 🙂
Model #4 was Barb, she’s become a regular as well and was in need of some more casual head shots for her portfolio…isn’t she gorgeous?! 🙂

Anna modeled this dress for all of YOU!!! If you are thinking of doing a trash the dress session but don’t want to trash YOUR dress, you now have the option to wear this dress for a photo shoot with us! 🙂 Tracy from Bliss Boutique contacted me earlier this year and offered to donate this dress to us to use in photo shoots. It’s a very pretty but simple dress that will go well with just about any jewelry, flowers, veil, etc….the perfect trash the dress kind of dress!! 🙂 So if you’re interested in booking a trash the dress session with us and want to wear this dress, email me at [email protected] and we’ll get it scheduled ASAP! Model #5 was Alex, he came to us from Berny Martin, the owner of Catou Couture…Berny is an AMAZING fashion designer and Alex is modeling one of his suits here. Alex was also a model in Midwest Fashion Week, the largest Midwest fashion show produced by Berny himself!
Then Anna changed into one of Berny’s amazing dresses…wow! They looked like they were ready to walk the red carpet!

Model #6 was my youngest sister Leah…she is so gorgeous!! Karen & her crew wanted to go for a young/fun teen look with her and I think they pulled it off very well!
