October 2007

Last week we also photographed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' conference in downtown Indy…they were a great group of people to work with and so easy to photograph, especially with the group shots, they were done in a snap! 🙂 I guess that's what you get when you work with a group that follows orders so well…hehehe….:D (BTW, does anyone know why some of the arm badges have the American flag facing backwards? Just curious….)

I have the coolest job in the world…seriously…how many people can say they get to shoot at cool places with cool people every week?! 🙂 Last week we photographed Lydia & Dave's engagement session at VICTORY FIELD!! How cool is that?! (Thank you to VF for letting us shoot there, you guys were awesome!) 🙂 Lydia & Dave are baseball fans and they go to a lot of games so what better than to showcase their love for the game and for each other by shooting at their favorite hang out!?

They even brought us an official MLB ball from the locker room to use as a prop! 🙂

Here's Lydia warming up….

The other half of their shoot was done outside of the Scottish Rite building since they also love the architecture of it and it was close by…

Even though it was windy that night, the weather was perfect, the sky was beautiful and they had fun interacting with one another which makes for a great session…. 🙂

We started the day at the Sheraton in their honeymoon suite where Holly was getting ready. Melissa remembered Holly's adorable polka dot shirt that she wore for their engagement session a few months back and when we found this cute black & white polka dot box in the dressing room, we knew we had to incorporate it into the wedding somehow…. 🙂
