October 2008

Last week, we met up with Lydia & Dave for their trash the dress session before they left for their honeymoon to Mexico! Since Lydia is a paramedic and Dave is a firefighter, we thought we’d start at the firehouse for some unique photos in their wedding attire!!

HOT!!

LOL! I loved this one….her flowers in his work boots…:)

After that, we were planning on shooting at Avon Gardens but their hours were listed incorrectly on their website so we pulled up and they were closed!! Agh! Luckily, they knew their way around the area well and suggested Friendship Gardens in Plainfield & I think it actually worked out even better!! 🙂

Lydia loved some similar shots that we took of April like this so we replicated a few of those for her…

I LOVED this shot!!

They have a cool gazebo nearby so we got a few shots there…

And then ventured to the bridge….

And then over to Hummel Park down the road for some shots in the creek…I LOVED these too!! It was such a pretty day outside! Here’s my angle…

Here was John’s angle…:)

LOL!!

Thanks for a fun time!! More pics coming soon! 🙂

Last Sunday morning, we met up with Amanda & Jordan for their engagement session at Holcomb Gardens! Aren’t they adorably cute together?! 🙂

It was such a beautiful, sunny morning! I couldn’t decide which “shadow” shot I liked best so I’m blogging both…:)

The sky was amazing that morning…it made for some great silhouettes!

John’s view from over the hedge….loved it!! 🙂

Loved this infra red shot!

They both have GORGEOUS eyes!! Check out how blue Jordan’s are in this shot! 🙂

Thanks for a fun time you guys, more pics coming soon!! 🙂

Last weekend, we photographed Lydia & Dave’s gorgeous wedding & reception at Lumiere du Corps in Lebanon, IN! Lydia surprised Dave with an engraved brick from the new Colts stadium for his wedding gift and he surprised her with a new Nikon camera! 🙂 As you can see, they’re “picture people” too  and I couldn’t wait to get her reaction when she opened this gift…

LOL!!

They decided to see each other before the ceremony to get a majority of their pics done beforehand…I LOVE it when couples do that! 🙂

Dave with his two children, Serena & Zack….Serena will be featured on the blog again soon!! We’re shooting her senior pics next weekend! 🙂

See the rainbow? 🙂

Right before Lydia came down the aisle, I snatched this adorable pic….isn’t she CUTE?! I’m lovin’ the pigtails!

Lydia’s mom & step-dad gave her away…

It was such a gorgeous day outside!!

I knew this would look cool in infra red too! 🙂

YAY! They’re married!!! 🙂 Weren’t the flowers gorgeous?! Chuck Eaglin provided all of the flowers!!

Another gorgeous IR shot…

Are you kidding me?!?! OMG…so jealous of her long lashes!! 🙂

We ventured off the property for the next two shots….and eventually got kicked out but that was ok, I got my shots that I wanted…LOL…these were so worth it!!

FAVORITE!!!!!!

Debi from Cater It Simple provided their yummy food and gorgeous cake!

They win the award for the coolest ring shot opportunities this year!! I’m always looking for something fun & different and these are my new favorites! 🙂

They “tied the knot”….get it? 😉

They had an awesome candy buffet set up and we heard that Lydia’s step-dad LOVES Twizzlers…

All of the kids thought it was the coolest wedding ever! 🙂

We had a gorgeous sunset that evening so we took them out for a few more pics…

Then Dave went back inside and danced with Serena, so sweet!!

I LOVED how the tent was all lit up…

Sparkler exit!!

Hope you guys had fun in Mexico this week! Your trash the dress pics will be posted soon! 🙂

My hubby, the social (networking) butterfly LOVES Twitter…if you haven’t gotten into Twitter yet, go create an account here. It’s kind of like micro blogging, so if you want to follow us in between blog posts, you can follow me on Twitter!! (Profile name: ErinHession, all 1 word) I’m usually more of a FaceBook girl but I realize the need to stay on top of the latest and greatest breaking news, business ideas, conversations, etc. I just watched this fantastic video that the Bui Brothers created about how to best use Twitter. A special thanks goes out to Cathy & David for sending the link! 🙂
